DA was 2787 that day. Pulling some timing up top from heat. Could only produce 11.9 on first run. Then I was constantly getting 12-12.1. Octane and 1/2 tank were what was holding me back. I'll try and get a pick when I get home.

Next time I got will be running MS109 & 100% meth w/ 50 additive. Still on stock plugs after 10k of WMI 16k miles right now.

I'm ordering drag radials soon for my 340i... I hope to go 11s soon.

I went 12.6@112 with just jb4 and bms intake. It's was a 2.09 60ft....

I've got ER lesscat pipedown in the mail.

Sweet time! Sounds like you have the 403m wheels (I have these and boy are they heavy, especially with runflats).

******* ******** will def help. Hopefully it helps the trap speed!

Curious to what software everyone is running.

I ran

12.2 @ 113 with JB4 only
12.0 @ 115 with JB4, Intake and ER pipe
11.87 @ 117 with JB4, Intake, Er pipe and 100 octane
11.85 @ 116 with JB4, Intake, ER Pipe and E30

I found the anything after hex 5 to be significantly quicker.

Nice time! The x-drive system is impressive, 1.6 60ft on runflats lol. I just done a 11.9 but @ 120 with a 1.95 60ft on my rwd m135i. It's a shame we don't get x-drive as an option over here in the uk.

Am I the only one unimpressed with the trap speed especially considering the car is running meth? Awesome ET, but that trap is on the low side.

My avg ign was 8 degrees timing retard. With a 1/2 tank of pump 93. And boostjuice for the mix. 85 degrees that day. Plus I'm xdrive. Trap don't mean anything. I know plenty of 335's that trap over 125 and have 12 sec 1/4 mile...

I agree..... I am not running meth and I trap 115mph on 93 (96 degrees and 2,600 ft DA) and 117mph on E30. You should be trapping a lot higher and your ET should be lower. I am running quicker than you on 93 with map 2, ** and intake at 11.8.

Not criticizing just saying you have a lot more potential if you fine tune it!

TRAP is everything, trap denotes how fast the car can go down the 1/4, the E.T. is how good the driver was at reaching it.

Not necessarily. Trap represents horsepower but every car makes power in different places. His car is awd so his et will be quicker than a rwd because of 60'. His trap will be less because he makes less horsepower than a rwd.

But his ET is still slower than a RWD car like mine without Meth. His car is not making full power. Meth adds 50whp which is significant and with AWD he should be quicker than me on both ET and Trap. His ambient conditions were better as well.

The MPH your car crosses the line is the equalizer and single most important performance factor of a vehicle for acceleration.

That's what I'm saying. For the mod list this car is not running right... a quick trip to Dragtimes and the only 340xi listed running JB4 map1 and a ** is running 11.9@115. The Xi cars don't give up as much as most think in terms of trap speed.

You're right. I would think the car would trap 120+.

OP, is your car manual or auto? If auto, did you shift yourself?
