Default 15 335i xdrive Afr safety - 01-31-2022, 05:50 PM

So I am new to this forum but DID search for the fault codes before making a post. I have a 2015 335i xdrive 6mt FBO and my jb4 is showing codes without descriptions. They are 15C151, 800011, and 2BE081. Recently, i have also been hitting the afr safety in map 5 when shifting from 3rd to 4th mostly. Its pulling timing from cylinder 5 so i am throwing in colder plugs and coils this weekend to hopefully fix that issue.

I have some logs of it hitting the safety i can sort through to help diagnose, just need to know what you want to see

Please upload a log of the issue and we'll take a look at it.

Trims are really high and then flatlined which forced you lean and kicked you to safety.

Set your FOL to 90 and see if that helps.

I did some pulls so I have attached the logs. I had a drivetrain malfunction around 906 which threw code(read using foxwell) 119404 "rail pressure sensor signal permanently stuck". Trims look better but still spike here and there to the high 40s

That looks better...see if lowering your FOL to 85 resolve the DTM. We're spoofing that signal so 90 might be too high for it. The alternative would be to do the BMS BEF and that will raise your scaling so FOL doesn't have to be as high. It'll likely perform better as well.

I flashed the ewg race bef last night and left the fol at 85. On the logs, after i shifted, it sputtered really bad so i let off. Looks like it happened when afr got into the 12s

Trims look much better so you can lower your FOL to 60. Other than that...it's not a particularly great log but noting looks out of the norm from what I can see. Logs are best done starting in 3rd at 2k rpms and stay at WOT the entire time.

I changed my plugs to 97506 gapped at 0.020 and installed new ignition coils. Car seems solid now. What afr range is acceptable for these engines?

Trims flatlined, forcing you lean and kicked you to map 4. Try resetting your adaptions. Previous log looked fine.
