Don't take it the wrong way. Happy to help you go even quicker and correct any issues in the JB4 firmware. Just post the CSV so we can see the relevant data and correct your analysis as needed.

What’s with the huge timing drop? You can see it in the graph and the logs- along with the throttle dropping. What’s odd is it adds back the timing after the timing drop. At an even higher RPM. I’d imagine because that’s where the timing corrects for the boost being so hi? What is the typical timing we should be accomplishing on 93? As in, what’s the peak timing so we can adjust boost to maximize both.

Did you just add 5 psi to all gears or did you adjust any other parameters? Trying to get a map 6 on mine.

@Terry - What does map 1 run across all RPM ranges is is a flat 4 psi or is it a ramped up and down type situation?

So if you were to run map 6 with all RPM ranges set at 5 psi would map 6 be as smooth and responsive at map 1? and of course the expected 1 psi difference.

I want to test this. Has anyone else? if so what are your thoughts?

It's probably fine as we have the stock ECU and TCU countermeasures in place but having banana'd some rods on a Mazda many moons ago, I've tended to steer away from asking for lots of boost at lower RPM's since.
