Overall not bad. The install is OK, no issues. You've got some timing deviations but those should smooth out. It might take the ECU a few days to adapt and relearn to the extra boost. You're GTG
What should I worry about/look for when I look at my logs in the future? I have glanced over “what things mean” page but not really grasping how it translates to the numbers.
Sorry if that’s an in-death question. Any help is greatly appreciated.
The biggest thing is ign2-6. We like to see 3.5 or less. That's how many degrees the car is pulling due to knock. Never tune so there's no deviations, a few degrees here and there are normal.
There are several other things to look at like your HPFP on Ethanol, boost meeting your target number (Map), AFR is at target 11.9:1 plus or minus, Trims dropping, Meth flow and IAT's if you're in Map7. I can go on and on but studying your own logs with the BMS program is the best thing to do. N54Tech.com - International Turbo Racing Discussion - View Single Post - JB4 laptop connection directions
Thanks man. I’ve done a few more logs and I see a few 4.5 and a 5 thrown in on one log in reference ign. I’ll just keep an eye on them. I get the others, this was the main concern. Always had other people tune my vehicles so I wasn’t familiar with the timing part. Thank you for your response.
