Question Kit bluetooth info - 01-16-2022, 12:14 PM
HI
I will preface this by saying that I have not yet purchased the JB4 mobile app.
I mounted the V3.7 bluetooth kit on my 335i, but from my iPhone I don't detect bluetooth. I tried Android and it detects bluetooth (I can't connect because I don't have the app).
Is it normal that with iPhone I don't detect bluetooth if I don't purchase the app?

I just want to know if it is normal to not see bluetooth from iPhone before buying the app

No...you should be able to see it if installed and car is powered on.

I have tried with various iPhones but nothing.
With Android I see it.

I have the same issue on my phone with the V2 kit. I do have the app installed but I don't think it makes a difference.

Does anyone have any way of testing whether they can find the device with an iPhone without having purchased the app?
