Default Pure Stage 2 DD with MHD BEF/JB4 initial log - 04-23-2019, 09:01 AM

Hi N54tech,

I got Pure Turbos stage 2 DD installed in my 2008 535xi.

My stock turbo waste gates were shot and replaced them with the pure turbos. Getting the turbos installed were a priority, so supporting mods are still on their way - larger FMIC, ***, and LPFP.

Currently:
5" intercooler
Stock airbox
RB inlets
NGK 95770
Delphi ignition coils
N20 TMap
xHP stage 3 AT.

MAP 6 with Hybrid Turbo recommended settings on this site, BEF PUMP_USA, and targeting 17 lbs of boost.

My Fuel is currently E15 which I'm thinking is safe for now until I get a LPFP as my LPF numbers are in the 60's.

This is my DD and was wondering if my log shows the settings are safe for now until I turn up the boost with support mods.

Best,
Josh

Logs looks clean. Lpfp in the 60s is okay, 50 should be the worry point.

Congrats on the turbos

Overall log looks clean- some timing corrections on cyl 3, some more octane would probably clean that right up.

Everything looks safe, wouldn’t worry about running the car like this at all

Awesome! Thank you both!

Can't wait to get these mods on so I can slowly up the boost.

At 17 psi, car is pretty quick.

Essentially, I'm targeting around 500-530 whp with a little ethanol in the mix for my DD. I'm guessing that will be around 20-22 psi depending on my fuel. My assumption is that these turbos will be barely breaking a sweat at these power levels.

At 22 psi you will most likely be a little over the 530 whp mark on a dynojet. Wgdc will be VERY low. At 23 psi I was a little over 550. At 24psi I was 569. Ive gone to 27 psi and thats the most I care to run on the 6AT.
Just to give you an idea on E40 +. Im currently full E85.

Nice! This gives me an approximation of where I'll be. Thank you!

Is your AT holding up ok? Part of the reason, for me, to keep the boost in the low 20s is the AT and transfer case.

My trans was fine as was my t case running 27-28 psi on my Pure 2 hi flo & 25-28 psi on my doc kit.

Flash the car with xhp if you haven’t yet - just do Stage 3 & possibly an aux cooler to help keep the temps down & you should be alright

As Dave said, xHP and keep it pushing. So far so good.
