Pulled on a E92 M3 last night i probably put about 2 cars on it before i slowed down and he kept going like a ricer and exited the freeway. I also dusted a 370Z that volunteered to race me three times.... on the 4th time he would just stay back and not come next to me. I'm on map 5 with some ethanol.

There was a description from Terry of how the wastegate control worked, bias, FF, WG duty etc. I thought it was a sticky but I can't see it. Anyone help locating it?

Depends what map and setup you're running. Generally that stuff isn't currently used for the B58 except when using water/meth.

Terry is the EWG pigtail required when using meth?

I'm running map 6 with NF octane booster and currently matching most meth set ups whilst on the edge of fuel capacity. My FF keeps creeping up though and causing small overboost spikes. Just wanted to revisit that wastegate calculation.

Boost curve to suit the turbos efficiency. Found the boost control description and sorted that out to be more consistent after this datalog.

Logs to come shortly, but noticing a curious issue more frequently.

During aggressive driving, after a gear shift (6MT), I'll put my foot back down to go WOT again, but the car reacts like it's N/A. The car barely pulls until I back off the throttle and try again. I'll typically get louder backfires when I come off the throttle after one of these events, too. I'm on the 11-test firmware, which seems to have reduced the frequency, but it's still happening pretty regularly. any ideas? JB4 settings are all default, map 2.

mods are JB4 with EWG connector, AP intake, a sinful deepee, full awe exhaust.

Possibly overboost spike closing throttle, the turbo is much more frisky with the sinful mod, so requires less wastegate duty to achieve target, Try with FUA set to 10 or 20. Can you post a log?

I'll post some logs this evening or tomorrow. Sorry, I know this is mostly worthless without them.

FUA 10 made it noticeably worse. I have not tried 20, though, which I will experiment with.

FUA 20 on map2 made it a lot smoother for me. Map3 now with 2.5 gal of e85 and the rest 91 feels fine with very few of any closures. I tried map5 with 2.5 gal e85 and rest 91 with fua set to 20 as well but it was horrible. I’m installing meth and ewg next week so hopefully maps 6 and 7 will feel fine

Have you tried lowering FUA to 15?

is the practical effect of FUA adjustment boost reduction? I seem to see substantially lower boost the more I increase FUA values..

I recently installed the JB4 on my 2017 540xi. Iím wondering how do I access the OBDII dash menu? My cluster is semi digital. I have been able to find videos for pretty much all other cars than the G30. Please help as I would like to activate the CANflap on the right exhaust.
