We'll be doing a group buy on the Stage 2 and 2+ coming up very soon... keep an eye out for a full post with dyno results/etc. They'll be significantly less expensive than the GC family. Any questions, feel free to shoot me an email and I'll be happy to help you out.

Thanks,
Chris

As someone who just bought gc lites. Not installed yet. Where does the stage 2 and 2+ fit into the Vtt product line?

The GC family is the top of the chain (except for Stage 3). The 2 and 2+ are a more budget friendly offering that still has some significant advantages over traditional stock frame turbos.

Happy with my GC lites. Had them on for about 4 months. No dyno yet unfortunately, just getting tuning dial in. But - I'm maxing out my HPFP even with a Fuel-it TBI (which Steve@Fuel-It! at one point said was rated to 550whp on E85 blend) on 22 psi. Spools to 22 psi by ~3900 rpm. No wastegate rattle. Guy who installed mine is a certified Vargas installer, and said he's never had a fitment/install issue on several sets of GC's/lites.

To say no one has had problems with the turbos after install would definitely be far from true. Some companies carry a better success rate the others. Some related to turbo issues, others due to improper installation. There is no guarantee your aren't going to have issues. That being said, if you do your own install like I did, take your time, follow the steps, and do everything correctly. I have had zero issues with mine so far. If someone else is installing them, well that's out of your control and you better hope you have a reliable mechanic. If I was in the market for turbos right now, I would also be leaning towards the GC Lites.
