Can we get Stage 3 v1.2 map that doesn't have the crazy blips in M mode? I'd like to have the other upgrages of 1.2, juat no agressive throttle blips. Thank you!

+1 for this. This would be a nice flash time option.

What are the main differences between the stages? If I am not actively racing my 2010 535xi which stage is recommended?

Been running stage 2 for 3 days, noticed strange issue which happen 2 times, when I'm on 3rd gear and floor it and cut off on high rpm it shifts into 4th gear for 1 second then again downshift to 3rd gear by it's own which today made the rear tyres skid before i manual shift again into
4th immediately to lower rpm.

Attached log showing how it was on 3rd cut off throttle so it shifted into 4rd and directly it goes back to 3rd until I manual shift to 4th again.

Not sure if anyone else had this issue also.

Any word on this? Haven't seen any app updates in awhile. Or do I even have to update the app to get new maps?

You just have to have the latest version (1.1.53) of the app. I don't even think I updated it and it had the V1.3 on it already. Surprisingly, I went from the V1.2 which seemed a little harsh to me to V1.3 which now feels kind of sluggish comparably. Maybe it will do better as it adapts.

Stage 3 v1.3? I only see 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2 with single turbo versions of each.

Yep, just installed it yesterday and it had stage 3 v1.3. It was released on the 12th. Maybe check your app store to make sure you have the newest update.

I flashed my 335i with stage 3 about two days ago, previously I had the Alpina flash. With both this flash and the Alpina flash it seems I may be getting what people are referring to as transmission flare. When I upshift a gear my RPM will increase by maybe 100 or 200 and then begin to shoot down to the correct RPM for the next gear. This mostly happens in lower gear upshifts. What could I do to eliminate this issue as it seems that this taking away a lot of the speed from the gear change.

Has the req to completely disconnect JB4 prior to install been fixed, or if not has it been linked to a specific ECU or JB4 version? IJEOS running latest JB4 firmware, 32.8. Anyone with this combo have issues installing xHP leaving JB4 on map 0 only? Thx.

Good to know, thanks. Anyone with 335i/xi IJEOS ECU and JB4 firmware 32.8? I really don't want to have to disconnect JB4 every time I flash a new xhp version or whatever.

OK just flashed OTS map 3, version 1.3, 2009 335xi. Zero issues flashing thru JB4, later firmware automatically sets to map 0 when cable is connected. I did have a small issue I think was battery charger related. I had my charger set on 2 amps, 40 amps is the next setting. Initial backup failed at about 85%. Set the charger back to 40 amps (15 indicated on meter) started over, and let it go, everything was fine there on out. I used my cheap eBay INPA cable, cheap eBay OTG adapter, and my old deactivated Samsung S4 phone. End to end about an hour, that is backup, install app, flash TCU. So make sure your phone is charged up.

I have been running one version or the other of the Alpina flash for over 4 years, since it first came out (or was made public knowledge) thanks to Tomaz and then Cn555ic's DIY. I have never been super happy with it, esp D mode. I was concerned I'd lose the paddles like every other time I flashed the TCU back and forth between various Alpina and stock files, no problems paddles work fine.

Short test drive on xHP, D mode is fantastic. Also M-mode downshift rev matching A+. Only had a chance to drive about 15 miles (domestic **** this evening) but wow what a difference. Will baby it for a while let it adapt and then we'll see. So far so good.

Nice work, xHP.

Sorry, for causing confusion.

Originally the V2.x were meant to be for the ST guys, but as people were always just flashing the "latest" version, we had a lot of complaints about "shift points too high in D". (people with stock cars were using the ST maps)

So I changed the versioning to be the same for both, but ST maps have a "Singe Turbo Conversion" suffix.

That should be way more clear for new customers.

So it's confirmed new version will flash with JB4 in bypass mode if you had to physically disconnect before? From scratch as a new install?

From scratch: 2009 335xi, w/ IJEOS ECU, 32.8 JB4 firmware. Note with latest/recent firmware JB4 automatically goes into bypass mode when an OBD2 cable is detected, you don't even have to set it at Map 0. No issues doing initial backup, installing software, or first flash map. EXCEPT make sure you have a good charger, I'd think 10 amps min. 2 amp trickle charger won't cut it.
