Default New here. JB4 installed in 440ix with a small hiccup - 12-24-2018, 09:28 PM

Hi all

New member. I had a 428x with afe piggyback and loved it

I now have a new 2019 440ix and I just installed the JB4 on it

2 quick questions

1. Ugh. I broke the little white plastic clip on the TMAP plug sensor. But it still clicked in ok to the JB4 plug so it should be ok right? I shouldnít worry about the little clip? Seems fine. Just paranoid

2. Got everything working and the app with Bluetooth. On initial start up I got the chassis stabilization error on the idrive and dash which went away after driving down the block. From what I read that is a byproduct of disconnecting the battery. Is that right ? I believe I got the same error back on the 428 after the age install and it went away after a minute and never returned.
I got on the highway on the new 440 with JB4 and went WOT and got no errors

Iím on stock and Map1 with 93 octane Speedway.

I should be good to go right?

Yes you should he good to go. I would run a few logs and post them up in the support section just in case and you may be able to run Map 2 if you wanted. Grab a couple on map 1 and a couple on map 2.

Hoping to log soon! Finally got on the road today but Unfortunately itís been a monsoon in NY so couldnít push it. I do have to say that it seems to be running smooth and I can feel itís quicker on the butt dyno and the shift points look quicker. No error codes. The canflap works too on a quick test

So I got to log a couple of logs but I'm not sure yet how to read them or log properly but i uploaded them I need to read and learn some more.

Car definately feels faster in and pulls harder especially after 3k RPM and Map 1 seems solid. No codes and no odd shifts. Tried map 3 and it seemed to pull quicker but it may just be a feeling. downshift may have been a bit jerkier. But I couldn't get proper open road to go WOT in Map3.

Overall seems like everything is cool. I'm happy. Once I get a clean log or some help if I can't figure it out I'll reach out for map reading advice
