Default Walnut Blasting - Arizona - 02-03-2016, 10:28 AM

I have recently received a lot of interest for walnut blasting from local guys and want to share that I am now offering this service to those in Phoenix and Tucson. I have a regular Monday-Friday job, but can be available either Saturdays or Sundays. Typically, it can take anywhere from 4-6 hours, depending on valve intake conditions. I have included pictures of recent cleanings I have done.

$350 with new intake manifold and throttle body gaskets included.

For those unfamiliar with walnut blasting, I have included a link to modbargains.com who have put together a great write-up on how the valve intakes become so dirty and the benefits to the cleaning.

http://blog.modbargains.com/get-nuts...et-clean-tune/

Please feel free to PM me with any questions and availability to schedule an appointment.

Thanks!

-Dave

Flew to MI last weekend and did a walnut valve cleaning on a BorgWarner singe turbo 135i while I was there; car pulls like a freight train!
Have another cleaning scheduled this Saturday 5/14, but have some time available in the next couple of weekends. Send me a pm to schedule day!

Dave came and did my walnut blasting and wow was it worth it! The car idles so much better and part throttle acceleration is smoother. Worth every penny and Dave is a cool guy. Anyone on the fence about doing this should just do it. Your car will drive like new.

Thanks for the quick feedback! As dirty as they were, I had a feeling you'd be pleased. Happy to hear it!

Did it clean up the slight hesitation around 3k?

Dave just did some cleaning on my valves this past weekend and I wanted to post some feedback on here for anyone thinking about getting theirs done as well. First off, Dave is a fantastic guy to work with. He definitely knows his way around the N54 engine and can help with other modifications if you're interested. As far as how the actual cleaning went, he showed me how his whole process went and he was very thorough through the whole thing. He made sure each valve was properly cleaned and you can really feel the difference. My car had 80k miles on it with a bit of build up on it and had some slight cold start idle tremors. Since the cleaning, car doesn't have that tremor on idle and feels very smooth. Car feels like brand new! Definitely would recommend his services to anyone that wants a good valve cleaning. Dave is the man!
