It may. Added you to a separate 5 series list. The 5 series is a little odd, so best to break it out separately until we know it works.

We can make it wire reinforced. Really shouldn't matter since its pressure side only. Maybe we will let you all decide though.

As long as the payment is made by one person and we are shipping their address, we can bundle no problem.

Thanks,
Rob

Rob

Would prefer it wire reinforced tbh, extra structural reinforcement is great for piece of mind and longevity - especially when replacing a pipe which was completely metal.

It will fit RHD but it does NOT replace the turbo end *****. This means you still would reuse the turbo side pipe that connects to the rear turbo, which happens to be very crunched up for RHD but NOT for LHD. See our first post and latter picture provided (in post #35) for information on what this includes.

Has anyone every tried a LHD spec 135 pipe on a RHD car before? Assuming it clears the column (it could be very close if it clears at all), it is a much nicer flow design.

Well perhaps give it a whirl. Same turbos same car it should fit provided it is not rubbing the steering shaft.

Rob, this is good info here, RHD 135 and 335 ***** seem to be different.

Firstly the 135,535i,z4 rear turbo pipe is circular in shape the RHD reap pipe is more like a squashed oval shape and Is made from stainless steel not alloy and it has 3 majorly squashed points just up from where it joins the turbo. 2 of those sections are either side of the pipe and are in place to miss the rack and the manifold (also crumple points in the event of an accident. But there excessive in terms of clearing the rack and manifold so not needed) but the 3rd is a dimple on the underside and is needed to clear the wastegate arm so it has to remain in place.

So so more work would be neede to get a RHD piece.

My perspective:
1) LHD 135 pipe should fit on RHD 135,335 provided no rack interference.
2) LHD 335 pipe is only good for LHD 335.
3) RHD 135, 335 are the same pipe which is squashed up around the steering column which hinders flow. May want to try the LHD 135 pipe for an upgraded path, although may not clear the column.
5) LHD/RHD 535 is questionable and appears to be a slightly different animal all around.

Rob
