Default Data log show drop in boost, possible leak? - 05-17-2019, 01:26 PM

Been doing a few data logs and they all seem to hit boost target, then slowly drop as the rpms climb, about 5psi below target. I'm going to be running a smoke test this weekend hopefully to see if there's a leak somewhere but wanted to get opinions on what might be causing the issue. Car is an auto btw.

Mods: BMS charge pipe, intake, 5" intercooler, JB4, MHD back-end flash, VRSF catt-less down-pipe, xHP trans tune.

Not sure why it's being edited out but it's a datazap link

Here's a log after my intercooler went in earlier, https://datazaap.me/u/barbie/after-i...log=0&data=1-4

Here's a log from before it where I was able to do a longer pull
https://datazaap.me/u/barbie/30-110-ish?log=0&data=1-4

Thanks in advance.

dont think you have any leak , the longer pull looks apart from timing corrections pretty good

Awesome, glad to hear. Wasn't sure if that was normal or not coming from my previous vehicles not having forced induction. Thanks for taking the time to check Thomas.

You should upload the CSV because the file has additional diagnostic information in it. It can be downloaded from the datazap site but it is extra work.

Agree with the above there is no leak, just typical fall-off for stock N55 turbo. Log otherwise looks pretty good.

Not sure if your tune is manipulating IAT, but you hit 188F by the end of that long pull, which is the highest IAT I've ever seen in a JB4 log.

Sure, 188 was before the intercooler went on, I've only seen it hit 163 with the new one now. Hope the attaching worked here, uploading from my phone.
