Springs will be shipping out to us next week from Japan, which will take a couple weeks.

After we receive, we can start final assembly, and will contact everyone on the pre-order list regarding shipping and payment

Images of the exact item are in the 1st thread (the 1st image).

Swift use a different (proprietary) material, so can't really be compared. Ours are more similar to Hyperco/Eibach.

As for rebuilding, it really just depends on your application/driving; what applies to one customer may not apply to another. However, rest assured that once they have been officially launched, we will have full stock of all repair parts at our US and EU facilities for quick rebuilds/repairs.

i was just asking because i wasn't sure if the pics were the final production version. also i have swift springs currently so i didn't know how the quality of the supplied springs compared and whether or not i should keep the swifts and swap them over once i get the coilovers.

also any rough idea what we are looking at for a rebuild at your facility per shock?
thanks

You could give both springs a try if you wish, as it's easy enough to swap them over.

For rebuilding, it's very unlikely that they would need to be rebuilt within a short period of time; the service is more for those who would like to revalve them to a different spring rate for custom applications. We've still to work out the costs on this, but it will be within the industry/market rates.

This is the email sent out to everyone who is on the 2nd round of testing (for those who never received the email):

"Hey there,

first of all, I would like to apologise for the delay with the 2nd round of coilovers.

the good news is, we can confirm now that the springs will be shipping out to us this week from Japan, which will take a couple weeks.

After we receive, we can start final assembly, and organise the shipping method that our customers required (please note, if you are not located within the mainland US, then only the UPS shipping option is available).

As mentioned in our forum post, you have two options for shipping:

1) Wait for the coilovers to come over to the US on our monthly container. This normally takes around 6-7 weeks, but once they arrive in the US, we will ship them to you at no extra charge

2) Have the coilovers shipped directly to you via UPS Express, which takes around 3-5 working days. This will cost $150

We will contact you further in a couple weeks time (i.e when we start assembling them coilovers) to arrange the remaining payment(s) due, so you do not need to decide which shipping method you require yet, but advance notice is appreciated"

It is, unfortunately. You would need to wait till after the new year for the production batch. We will be running a pre-order special

Custom Spring Rates (even rates, 4K-16K/224lb-896lb) - $50/corner, as we have to re-valve the dampers to match (we will not be held liable for upsetting the oem F/R ratio. Please note that the oem F/R ratio is 1:3)
Can you specify the rates for the sport and race springs?

Is the factory ratio really 1:3 in terms of front / rear stiffness?

4k in the front with 12k in the rear (1:3) seems like the front would be way under sprung.

I would need to check on this, but possibly.

For the test sets, sports is 6K/12K (after testing, we found this to be slightly better than the 4K/12K)

For race, we will initially be testing 6K/18K and 8k/18K. If the rates need to be changed, we will revise for the production batch

Excellent - that sounds more on par.

What kind of springs are they? Hyperco? Swift?

Are they 60mm 7" front and 60mm 9" rear?

No, they are custom made for us. We're still testing the material composition to make sure they meet the same standards as expected from our competitors such as Swift/Hyperco/Eibach

Once they meet our requirements, we will start offering the springs also.

For length, let me check with the engineer

Coilovers are under final assembly just now, and will be shipping out next week. They are scheduled to arrive at our US facility in November (for those who live outside of the US, we will be shipping via UPS/TNT Express)

A final PayPal invoice has been sent to all concerned. Thanks!

Container is on it's way, and is scheduled to arrive at LA port on the 16th Nov, so should hopefully clear customs and be delivered to our facility around a week later. We can then start shipping the orders out via UPS Ground to everyone
