Default Log Analysis - 08-06-2021, 02:13 AM

I've been running Map2 on my FK2 type R for a while now (6 months+) so now I am starting to explore Map6 a little. For the main part I have just raised the boost by 1 PSI (up to 5PSI) in the 4-5krpm range and tapered it off slightly right at the top end. The logs look OK to me but can somebody cast an eye over them to verify? It's a 3rd to 4th gear run for context as the type r firmware doesn't extract the gear number from the CANbus (feature request please!).

My fuel pressure seems to be holding in the 16-17 MPa range which is always the concern if that tanks but I'm not sure what I should be looking for when it comes to ign_1. My plan is to expand out the 5PSI target beyond 5Krpm if everything looks OK from the log.

Fuel is Shell RON99 which i believe is around 94-95Oct.

Looks pretty solid so far...I don't see anything to be concerned about.

Thanks Steve. I'll start expanding 5psi a bit higher up the rev range.
Do you know if map3 is active in the type r firmware (beta download) and if so how it compares with what i am doing in map6?

I believe so as i don't see the type R excluded but I'd need to see a log to verify.
