Default 2 devices for one JB4 - 01-14-2021, 03:38 AM

Can anybody tell me whether I am allowed to run two devices to the same connect module. I don't mean at the same time but I have a head unit that I am about to install which is android based and has much larger and better capabilities than the standard one in my car and should be able to run the JB4 app. At the same time I have my android handset.
I'd like to be able to use the head unit for day to day gauge display stuff and my handset for logging as i can take that with me and email logs etc from it (it's just easier than the head unit).
So can I do this, am I allowed to do it, do I need to purchase the app twice?

If both devices are android, no additional purchase will be necessary and you can switch between devices at any time.

I have the head unit but JB4 does not support BT. Have to use the hard wire connect.

After trying this out it appears my head unit does not support low energy.
