Is the iOS app ready yet? I can’t find it in the App Store. My Android tablet won’t even open that app. Just sits on a white screen. Not that I care, as I deteste Android.

Does this work with Harry's laptimer and other tracking apps? Or it only works with its own app.

Dragy only works with dragy app. Laptimer is under development.

I think this thing would sell pretty well if it is usable with other apps as well. Quality gps tracker w/ built-in accelerometer is surprisingly hard to find.

It's selling pretty well as is. But the idea here was a high speed GPS device that is used exclusively with the Dragy app. Adding features to the app are open to discussion but the device itself will remain locked down. Not to mention trying to integrate in to other apps sounds like a huge headache.

Don't see why having it locked down and make it exclusive to its own app is a good idea. Sure, having a nice, feature rich native app is critical to the overall user experience. But keeping it open source and allowing other 3rd party app to be able to get data from the hardware can be pretty important as well. Integration is up to the developer of those 3rd party app, so it really isn't your problem to deal with.
Would be cool if this thing has a nice lap timer app down the line. HPDE/track days for road course and autocross are getting more and more popular every year in the US, you guys would get a lot of sales if it is marketed toward that as well.

7.4 here
Only thing I don’t like so far about the app is when in video mode the draggy symbol comes up and block the view

Why does the time-slip show 10.388@68.73 and on the Dragy app it says 10.43s@112.49, what's up with the speed difference?
( Post with time-slip data)
Does the app record other times like 30-50, 50-70, etc?
Can the data be exported?
Are you able to input Weight, Cd, and Frontal Area to calculate WHP?

Man hopefully you guys can get that done soon, I'd love to buy an affordable laptimer, as I don't have a use for a straight line speed/run timer.

That was our demo App we tested couple months ago. The speed is 112.49kph which is 69.89mph.
We have custom mode that you can set up any speed or distance you want.
We don't export data feature now but we are working on a more professional report that shows data in every 0.1 sec.
We don't have plan on WHP calculation. The result will not be accurate.

I would guess that's probably limited by the gps chipset. 10hz should be plenty good for non-pro use. My iphone w/ 1hz update rate already gives pretty accurate laptime already.

We use both GPS and GLONASS satellites which provide better accuracy than VBOX. Maximum sample rate is 10hz. But the chip we use supports up to 18hz on GPS. If 18hz has a better performance on the track, we can change the GPS settings on the App.

I can’t get my stupid truck to launch. There’s a nasty throttle lag in first gear. Result is 0-60s about a second slower than bmw claims.... though I’m sure they tested on 18s and not 20s, which I’m sure helped.

Is the device doing an interpolation to report results to a hundredth of a second since the position update rate is every tenth of a second?
What do you mean by "0.01 sec Performance Definition"?
