Hey guys,

Just did my MHD BEF using IEJOS BB2 pump map. I have an 09 335xi with DCI Charge pipe, Tial BOV, 7" IC and ******* **'s. I have the JB4 in map 5 and everything is working perfect. when running E30 instead of straight 93oct does the timing and fuel adapt on its own to the e30 mix or is the fuel and timing for that map set at constant tables for boost and rpm? thanks

The JB4 map5 should adjust for it automatically. If you have any issues then post a log and we can confirm.

Default E85 map question - 08-17-2018, 10:51 PM

Hey guys, I have a 2010 335i n54 fbo w/ stage 2 lpfp minus dpís. I run e52-60. Iím looking to go pretty aggressive on the tune. Mind you Iím still running the stockers. This may be a noob question, but should I go e85 or e85 hybrid on the mhd? I understand mhd e85 bef has more advanced timing, but is the hybrid map more aggressive with slightly less timing advance?

the boost levels are increased when running a BEF right? Can someone tell how much boost each map (map 1, 2, 5, & 7) produced when running back end flash?

was wondering the same thing. running e60 with a stage 2 lpfp and e85 bef on map 7 and targeting 17.5psi. do I need to set the VO to e60? when switching back to 93 do I still need to reflash to the pump bef or can I switch to map 5 and just set setting 4 from 2 to 3? thanks for the help

Hi guys,

I have recently installed JB4 and Im currently running E85 BEF Map 7 (BEF obtained from this post).

Soon after installing JB4 I have been getting below codes:
29F4 ******* ********* Detected
29F5 ******* ********* Detected

2C7B Lambda probe behind catalytic converter 2, signal
2C7C Lambda probe behind catalytic converter 2, signal

I do have ******* *** / previously I was using COBB and these errors were not showing up...

I did a bit of research and I understand that outside USA you can use passive delete or TunerPro to code them out. Inside USA it's illegal to disable them....I'm based in Australia and I have Passive Delete enabled (see attached photo) - however errors keep coming back up....couple questions....

1. The car drives just fine - is anyone aware of any implications of these codes being triggered i.e. impact on AFR etc (given I'm running E85 current AFR logs seem little bit high 15.4 to 12.5).
2. What the best way to clear these out - any guidance on using TunerPro etc - any implications on getting these cleared out.

I have also attached one of the logs.

Cheers guys

As you are running e85 I guess the best for your car to load the e85 BMS flash via MHD and your car will thank you.

Any chance we can get IKM0S map in BB? Anything GOOGLE related is blocked here in China so MHD is a no-go

I'd have to work out the torque tables for it. Will see what I can do.

Default 2010 335 now a 2008 135? - 09-18-2018, 05:56 PM

I'm running the JB4 (BB) e85 BEF. Now when I connect my diagnostic programs (Bavarian Technic and AutoEnginuity) and select auto detect the vehicle, the programs detect a 2008 135i with a totally different VIN.

Any ideas on how to get my old car back? I imagine I could load a copy of my DME flash into TurnerPro (which I am not familiar with) and mod it to the e-85 BEF specs. but as I said, I haven't worked in TunerPro yet.

Is my 2011 335is IJE0S OR IAN0S? MHD app says IJE0S when plugged in, but I see a previous post here by Terry that says IAN0S for 335is models?

Default Trouble with MHD BEF - 09-20-2018, 11:17 PM

I have a 2011 BMW Z4 sDrive 35i. I recently put on JB4 and cold air intake and so far really like the results. But then I decided to add an MHD backend flash. According to the MHD app, I have DME version INA0S, not IJE0S as I originally thought. So I flashed the BB2 pump.bin under INA0S. When done, I got an engine light, and my car was clearly messed up. It wouldn't accelerate at all. In JB4, I got code 29F3 faulty low fuel pressure sensor, except I don't think I have this sensor. I then tried the MHD pump.bin under INA0S and got the same result. I ended up flashing back to stock, and the car appears to be running normally. No more engine light and acceleration is back.

So, am I using the wrong flash? Should I be using the BEF under IJE0S since I think I have an MSD81 module? Or does no flash work with my car? I'm just confused about what might be going wrong, and I'd hate to think I wasted money on an Android device and cables and MHD license. I'd appreciate any help.

CHeck that you have the correct BEF setting on the JB4 set up for the car.

Go into the steering wheel controls menu, go to menu 4, make sure the the the right gauge is on setting 2.
so setting 4/2

I’m pretty sure it is because I tried to flash it again late last night and it was set to 4/2, still had the problem.

Did you set your JB4 to Map 0 before flashing?
