I would like to know if anyone has used any of the above tuning companies for work on there N54 Bmw. Some feedback on their work will be appreciatted.

RFP is a hack. I am not familiar with Pure evil.

Stick with a reputable tuner.

I recommend twisted tuning, good clean history with tuning and they do a really good job.


Never cheap out on tuning unless you want a blown engine.

Likely THE most important part of how well a vehicle runs. Do not try to save $100, or even $1000 on that.

I don’t think a custom tune is even required unless you are BIG power, or, really trying to squeeze an extra 40hp. JB4 with BEF is tried tested and true.

I went with Pure Evil Tuning after hearing/reading good things about his tunes. I daily drive the car and it has been running a custom e60 tune from him since the beginning of the year. Runs smooth and no issues so far. Impressed with the performance. I would recommend him.
