Bmw m2/2 series rear C pillar trim removal - 02-18-2020, 04:42 PM

Does anyone know how to remove the C pillar trim on the m2? Ista is saying to disengage the clips first before pulling up, but I can't get them to release no matter how hard I pull, and I don't want to go crazy since it could break the panel.

If anyone has done this before I would love the insight.
