Question PFL 2017 Audi S3 (8v) ROW spec on E90 fuel. HP increase expectation with JB4? - 07-31-2020, 07:41 AM

Good day all,

Happy new owner of a PFL 2017 Audi S3 Rest of the World (ROW) spec.
Enjoying most aspects of it, to include how much information is available online from support boards like this. Thanks!

The only upgrades right now are a Racingline R600 intake, resonator delete and an Audi sports exhaust.
Love the sound but the pickup could still be a little quicker.

I am looking at either a JB4 or a REVO Stage 1 ECU & DSG tune; there is a local REVO dealer.

The JB4 excites me as I can always sell it if its just not enough oomph, I can adjust the map, with Georges help, or it can be stacked with the REVO tune later.

Locally E90 fuel is the highest octane we can get.

I have seen the dyno results on the board but none with such simple mods and running 90 octane fuel.

My question is, reasonably, what sort of increases can I safely expect from a JB4 on 90 octane fuel?

Thanks for your guidance on this. Appreciated!

In map 1 I would suspect 45hp and around 50ft lb of torque. We can always custom tune it if you willing to do some logs to suite the fuel perfectly.

Thanks George.
More than willing to put in the time and do some logs.

I will reach out once it is actually here.
