Default Timing pullback as soon as I press the accelerator - 08-30-2021, 07:07 AM

I have noticed that timing will pull back between 2.3 and 5.3 on many cylinders the moment I press the pedal and was coasting. RPMS are at around 1500 to 2000, and the pedal is 50%. Boost is near 0 or just plain 0.

It's a spike and it disappears. I thought it was a MAP 6 thing, but, it happens with MAP 2 as well.

Under boost, I get no corrections and I don't see those spikes anywhere else, the car behaves great.

Personally I think it's when the gears are high, car is moving and slight acceleration causes the car to bog. Just wondering if others have seen this?

Sorry about that. I attached a log. It's bit long (I tried cutting it down). But in it, you can see various examples of the behavior.

Not sure but doesn't look like anything to be concerned about. Could be false knock its picking up but its so short and consistent I wouldn't be worried about it.

Looks pretty normal...you will run much higher timing when cruising and no boost, then once you put the throttle down, it'll pull timing based on the timing targets in the ECU...totally normal.

Thank you for confirming that. With boost, timing is fine (from what I have seen). So glad to hear it's nothing to worry about.

I noticed it doesn't say fuel wires on your mods list. Do you have those connected?
