Default Veloster N Mild Custom Map - 09-24-2021, 08:29 AM

is this safe or do I need a custom map that runs slightly less boost then Map1?

Im using 93 Octane but not sure if Map 1 is safe based on my log. I think everything looks ok except for maybe the ign? Is it supposed to drop like that?
Would trying a different brand of gas possiblly help change that?

Any advice would be appreciated

Maybe try a bit of octane booster so see if those timing corrections go away. They're not too bad but could improve.

Im going to try different brands of gas to see if I can improve this but as it is, is it safe? Can this hurt my engine? Sorry for the questions just new to this and don't want to cause any damage. Would disabling the fuel wire help this this?

I did a map 0 pull and a map 1 pull and they almost look the same as far as the ign#'s.

Which of these is correct for a Veloster N, I have seen people do it both ways?

The charge pipe gets the rainbow patch and the manifold gets the black and brown patch.

So its the picture on the right then. Andro at Burger sent me the picture on the left which is from the video link on the burger site and the other picture is from the install link on Burger site showing the opposite. So confusing. I will switch it. Could that have something to do with the timing pull?

Default Log Check - 09-27-2021, 01:01 PM

Hi Steve

Can you tell me how this log looks, this is after I switched the wire harnesses around to what you said. (Brown up top, colored harness on the charge pipe.

thanks

No, that wouldn't have anything to do with timing being pulled. One Map sensor has a temp sensor and the other doesn't.

I'd suggest doing proper logs for review but yes, you still have some timing corrections. They're not horrible but I'd definitely recommend sticking with map 1.
