2021 m340 xdrive map1 log please review -
12-07-2021, 10:17 AM
Please review map1 log. New to this….. Currently running pump 93 only other mods are BMS billet intake..AWE non resonated touring exhaust…and ewg connected. Recently changed fuel and no octane booster yet(ever). Eventually want to run e30 or e40 but that would be on occasions due to availability. So can I go to map2 or map3. Or is there any user adjustments that I have to make with firmware v20. Thank you

Logs look pretty good other than the top end timing. Your change to e30 will help with that.

Great. Thanks. So I ll try some octane booster maybe and go to map2. When I do run with e30 I go with maps 4-5 ? And all the user settings that you can change…I was just wondering about if or when that gets tapped into. Thank you

Add a bottle of octane boost and do a log on map 4. There shouldn't be many user adjustments that need changed, if map 4 looks good, we'll proceed to map 5.

Looks pretty normal...a few small timing corrections but nothing to be concerned with. If wanting to go to map 5, do a proper log on map 4 for review and we can go from there.
To properly evaluate the tuning, we'll need a full throttle JB4 log from 40-90mph on a safe private track.

So got 10 gallons but wanted Steve or who ever else to look at map4. Please let me kno. Appreciate all the help. And if I should change spark plugs. Thanks again

Log looks good still. Go ahead and try E30 and upload another log. Getting plugs will help with timing corrections and/or blowout as you increase boost. I will link the kit below that has all the proper plugs and tools you will need for the install.

When doing logs...be sure to stay at WOT. I concur with Cannon, the E30 will help clean up timing a bit.

Yea I will do that. Keep it wot…..I had a E30 mix this past week but didn’t get chance to do some logs. Def will get those logs in next weekend. Gotta say the but dyno feels great with the E30 on map4. Can’t wait to see what it looks like and what map5 brings. Just wondering tho…before I got the jb4 I asked Dave from BMS if anything is possible to do if you prefer more torque or low end power. Does anyone kno if something like that is possible without the backend flash. Since I can’t do that yet due to +06/2020 ecu. Like I said. Was just wondering. Will post logs as soon as I get them done. Thank you again. Conner/Steve and everyone else with there input. Thank you

@Conner
Spool looks pretty normal to me, I don't see excessive lag.
