I don't see that this has been asked before, so if it has already been answered, I apologize.
If JB4 BEF is applied and JB4 has to be removed (malfunction, damage, etc.), are we safe to run w/0 JB4 or do we have to flash back to stock? I'm curious is there is anything set in the BEF that will result in oddities or danger if JB4 is removed from the equation.
I’ve done it in the past. Car hasn’t blown up quite yet.
Would be grateful for comments on this Log, 4th gear pull, JB4 is in Map7 & MHD is Map5, One size 10 Nozzle spraying 100% meth from 2k rpm and 4psi, additive set @ 60.
I think the throttle cut was due to over boosting ?. Car feels good
Boost spikes like that aren’t great and sometimes cause either the throttle to cut or the fuel to crash so you need to figure those out IMO. Email Terry for support. Also, what is MHD “map 5” supposed to mean? They don’t label their maps like that.

Just need to control the boost more on that Map, sorry my bad its the MHD Race map. not the Meth map.
4th gear pull attempt. Throttle cut off on top looking for a fix. Map3
Your JB4 safety at work saving the engine. Check out that fuel pressure!

Looks good to me. psi2 is manifold boost and it's below target the entire time. Throttle is used to help regulate boost in situations where we're spooling quickly.

Yes yes. Kicked right into map8. How do i fix this?
It's a volume issue so software won't fix this. What is the fuel mix?

Fuel pressure should not be crashing on just race gas... Which BEF map?

This is interesting... Boost levels are low as well. I'm not on BEF yet and hover around 19-20psi on Map7 Add50 with 50/50WMI. Never seen such levels on fuel before. My FOL is only at 20. Curious to see what Terry concludes.
I’m no expert on race gas but is the volume enough at those boost levels without meth? Your meth flow is 0 so assuming no meth. Is that BEF ok to use without meth?

I didn't catch that... Trims are maxed as well. Looks like there's not enough fuel. With BEF do we have to enable WMI on all maps or just use map 7 and Additive?
I was confirming he wasn’t using meth and wondering out loud if that is ok for the WMI BEF. Sure it’s race gas but if it’s a hardware volume limit then meth may be required anyway.

I thought about that. I will try running map7 with Meth and re-log
Terry said the logs looked pretty clean, but also wanted to post up here to get the community feedback and see if it provides a data point for anyone else.
Any reason I should be running the “BMS RACE WMI” BEF Map? I’m hoping to hit the dyno soon.
0-60 was 4.22 and 1/4 mile was 12.44 with a 1.91 60’ on Dragy (Launch Control). Really want to go sub 4 and high 11’s. DA was also like 4,000’. 1-2 shift seems like it takes a little long, compared to the 2-3 and 3-4. It’s kind of like the car “figures out” what it wants to do, and then lays down the power very confidently. Maybe that is the turbo spooling and meth coming on, ha.

Grab a log on the E85 BEF with your fuel and let's see if the leaner AFR helps keep up fuel pressure on the same map. Just as a quick test.
