I just received the complete f32 meth kit from Burger, no relay included and absolutely no mention of a relay needed anywhere on your site or in the instalation instructions.

In fact the PDF says to extend the yellow wire and connect directly to the pump.

Common sense says the yellow wire is just a low current trigger wire for a relay but might be a good idea to incorporate this into the instructions and possibly include a $3 relay when selling a complete kit. just my .02

Does anyone know what meth tank will fit into this cavity (PRe-lci BMW 335i sedan) and be flush with the top? Thanks!

There is no tank that will fit there for the 335i n54. Get the biggest one from burger and bolt it on top in the trunk. I will get you a picture of mine later.

BMS makes some other stealth tanks that might fit I just don't have access to them, nor 100's of bucks needed to try to dry fit them. Has anyone tried? I need to have this flat in the trunk or my lifespan will be greatly shortened! Those who are married will understand. I'm willing to cut the plastic/modify it to give it more room to accept the best tank combo. Thanks!

Terry could confirm but they only make them for the F series

...and the 5 series as well. It is a fit issue for me not that it was made for the correct series. I would happily graft a F30 trunk bottom into my E90 sedan if I could confirm it would work to put the F30 tank back there!

Duty bias is not correct. They should be 50 or above. Reduce your boost and fix this. Your boost should be on target, then you can try higher boost levels.

Everything been running good for a while now, appart from 2step/antilag and NLS

Looking at option for the best way to integrate an additional nozzle in the charge pipe to reduce IAT at sensor.

i was thinking of adding a -4 AN ptfe line with a T-Piece to the solenoid then check valve and CM3 nozzle. using a pressure switch set at 14PSI to open the solenoid.

Bad idea ?

Default N54 PMI no fire, meth pump? - 12-19-2019, 02:03 AM

I have study PMI 3 months and try some setup on it.
But still got problem cant fix.
MOD
N54 twin turbo FBO
PI with BMS PI controller for meth
6*750cc PI injectors
SNOW meth system handle meth pump

When all install, I log first and it looks OK. (220 PSI pump at this time)
(file1)
after some run, I saw "meth" grow high in log file. I though that could be weak pump cause.
(file3)
So I put new max 300PSI SNOW pump in. then I got this log.
(file4)
After that I log many times. all trims high and I check everything looks fine. I guess the injectors didnt fire any more.
(file5)

what is the problem? how to fix it?

Thx a lot

BTW Im not sure which is right for PMI JB4 set at"meth safty" and "meth trigger"

Looks like it's working for me. You might need to increase pump pressure on the pump itself. It needs more fuel for higher boost.

Thanks for reply.
Please check file1 & file5. That is all the same hardware setting. file1 boost higher and FOL lower.
Is it possible that injectors cant handle high fuel pressure like 300psi?

In my case, the new pump just for 1 nozzle for IAT and PI. Should I put 2 pumps in?

Just because the pump is a 300psi pump, doesn't mean it's at the maximum setting. Did you put the dial on the pump to maximum?

I would pull the IAT nozzle out, no need for it.

I see the difference in the logs, not really sure what the difference is. Maybe the fuel in the tank is different?

The suggested implementation will be to remove the FSB all together and let the PI controller run the pump and injectors. Then with stetings on the FSB we'll layer in additional software safeties such as checking fuel trims more closely to ensure we're getting the desired flow.

On the BEF yes we'll customize one at some point if needed but for now use RACE. Meth PI and traditional meth are very similar from a tuning perspective.

When you have logs post them in this thread and we'll use it to flesh out the safety settings and JB4 programming.

Hi terry,

Im running PMI, with a 10cm nozzle in charge pipe for IAT's

running Single Turbo and everything is performing as it should..

but im not sure which is the best flash for my setup,

above you mentioned RACE, but that flash is only available for Twin turbos, and not in the Single Turbo flash files.

I'm currently using ST_TS flash.. whats the peak timing i should see, is it set to a max of 7 degrees peak?

thanks

Default help :) - 05-06-2020, 12:26 PM

Hello.
I think my second fuel pump (fuelit stage 3) never worked.
Attached you can see the relay connection and the trigger is connected to the fuelit pi controller yellow thick cable Wich is not described not on the install manual or the back of the controller

The fuelit manuals are not vet clear.
Can you help me out ?

The controller connection are dónde perfectly as described in the controller back instructions.

The red 12v (done)
Black chassis ground (done)
Yellow pin 9 on BMS db9 (done)
White pin 15 on BMS DV25 (done)
Purple RPM (done)

Thick yellow cable from PI controller (picture attached) not described anywere I connected to the 12v trigger on the relay (picture attached)

The pump is not working as I have low pressure (3) on jb4 safety.
Fuel bias is on 50
Meth scale is set to 99
I have the nls/2step relay so menu 8 is set to 3500 rpm instead of 0.

Can you help me out?

Hi all,

I'm going to go with MPI and WMI and have couple of questions... Some has been answered in this thread but...

1. Definitely I do not need the FSB if I have PI controller right?
2. From WMI kit I need only tank, pump, piping and also have harness already for driving a second LPFP walbro (I want to reuse the harness as actually I can't reach E85 in our country) Can I do it? Should change the fuse to 30A I guess.
3. When I have MPI how the engine get information about IAT? I would like to spary 50/50 for more octanes and also drop the temps.

Thanks in advance, Tomas

I apologize in adavance for the lazy question without much research... I will be diving into this more.

Are you able to run a low WMI at all times, safely? Or is it usually just set to engage at or near peak boot? If one is not just going for exteme power, I am curious if a low flow on a daily driver would actually help the engine.

Cheers!
