Default jb4 modification so power is not drawn from sensors? - 02-25-2018, 08:42 PM

is it possible to modify the jb4 beta to not draw power from the sensors? id like to use it for passive logging and monitoring only. I was thinking possibly switched power and sensor wire tap somewhere between the sensors and DME/ECU? However, I'm not sure if it needs 5V or can operate on 12v. I'm open to hard wiring a stealth install.

The car is seeing alot of dealer warranty work so I've decided to not connect it but I dont want to totally shelf it either. I really enjoy having the available data/ gauges and logging especially since I'm learning from it. There isn't anything else out there IMHO, that works as well. Thanks

Connect TMAP, OBDII, and run map4.
