andym3100k: Could you PM/Email me an image?
As mentioned, it's no bother making both 6 bolt and 8 bolt.
For everyone interested, please post up with your exact month/year/model, and I will try to verify before I start a proper list.
Thanks!

On the regular MT's, all Feb 2009+ models switched over to the 6 bolt crank, so I'm guessing if you fall into this, then you definitely have a 6 bolt.
8 bolts were only for the 2006-2008 (Jan 2009) models, so this is what we'll need to try verify. Was the DCT even available during this year range? Could possibly be a regional issue, as andym3100k is from Singapore (not the US), whose model years follow Europe.

Oh man that would explain everything. DCT wasn't available in USA until the 335is and LCI models, IRC. I hope there is still interest for the 8 bolt ones. As for my conversion to DCT this is what I will need.
Edit: even the 2008 USA Z4 models are 6 bolts according to REALOEM.

Yeah, andym3100k has a 2008 model, which (if going by our MT fitments) is an 8 bolt (as verified by the image he sent me)
As mentioned, it's no bother making both 6 bolt and 8 bolt
Sometimes the info on realoem is incorrect, but I'll need to double check. If anyone in the US with a 2006-2008 model is able to physically verify, that would be great.

1/09 build dates and after have the 6 bolts
12/08 and before have 8 bolts...
All DCT including E92 M3,135I, 335I,M2,M4,M5,M6 will fit straight in.
Why don't just seperate the weight ring off the flywheel!
Correct me if im wrong

it will work, just drill the rivets out and the ring should just fall off.

Approx 5 Kg.
It will bring the flywheel weight from 13.0 kg down to 8.1 kg

Wow, yours is a difficult one, as it's a 30th Jan 2009 build, so could technically go either way (2006-01/2009 are 8 bolt, 02/2009+ are 6 bolt)!
