With the MHD Pump flash, is the Min Flow Boost (PSI) setting still an active setting? I have mine set to 7 (originally 8) but the meth doesn't seem to flow until about 12-13psi. See attached log showing meth flow. I could have sworn that the meth started flowing a little earlier prior to the MHD flash. I don't think that it's much of an issue since I'm running ethanol but I'd like to know.

Edit: I uploaded the wrong file. The right one is there now.

MIN PSI is active, RPM has to be over 2000rpm, throttle more than 50% open, etc. Looks like it's taking meth around a second to get up to full flow in the log. A bit slow but not that far off. Maybe drop down to a min psi of 5.0.

The BEF has nothing to do with the meth flow or mapping.

Can someone confirm that the speed limiter works? I have tried the pump flash and it is still limited at 255km/h.

Or does something have to be encoded with ncsexpert?

thanks

Sport Mode:
Coolant normal 95c (106c Stock)
Coolant high 90c (95c Stock)
Coolant high+kft 80c (85c / 80c Stock) (This mode is activated at full throttle)
Amb threshold for high mode 27c (37c Stock)
Amb threshold for high + kft 32c (42c Stock)

Track Mode (only for drag race application):
Coolant normal 90c(106c Stock)
Coolant high 85c(95c Stock)
Coolant high + kft 80c(85c / 80c Stock) (This mode is activated at full throttle)
Amb threshold for high mode 22c(37c Stock)

No extra steps are required but some cars still don't take the limiter removal. Is your car Euro or US spec? How did you check the 255 limit, because the DME won't output more than this when logging.

Tested on the road. At about 255-260km/h the boost begins to regulate up and down. Like original flash.... It is EU Spec car.

thanks....

You must use the latest bms flashes. Terry changed it to 320kmph. In the older flashes it was not removed

Seems like it's only a flash-time option for standalone flash, not for BEF

+1. I know that looking at the timings themselves is what matters when looking at these BEF logs, but in general terms, is avg ign < 2.0 for E85 blends < 5 for pump gas, still a "safe" range?

Coolant target should be available whatever the map. On n54 Terry asked to remove linear throttle, I assumed it would not play nice on n55 with a jb4.

On throttle mapping we already have that on the JB4 end via menu11 in dash, doubling it up in the BEF will cause headaches.

Coolant targets are there now, select the BEF file you're currently using and there is 3 different settings under options right before you flash.

It is disabled in the BEF maps and works fine on our 2011 135i. There is some MHD bug though preventing it from working on all cars. MHD is working on it, last I heard.

PS. This week I'm working on migrating over the latest N54 flex fuel developments including the BETA virtual flex fuel sensor, PI scaling on ethanol content, and various physical sensor input options.
