Default F10 M5 beat - 01-08-2018, 02:04 PM

Ran across a really nice white F10 M5 today (in Mexico).
We played a bit on the highway, then took same exit and ended up lined up at a red light.
We both took off slowly on green, and punched it going about 10 mph - I hit it first, jumped ahead, and kept pulling. It was colder, and no LSD yet, so traction was an issue with DTC one-push off, and ASC kept lighting up until I got into 3rd gear. Then I actually let off briefly a couple times since he was falling back quickly and I wasn't sure he was still racing ... but he was I ended up 2-3 cars ahead by 100 mph.
Driver was cool, gave a smile and thumbs up, I did too but not sure he saw me through the tint.

Fun times, good runs.

I thought those were supposed to be pretty fast ? I dont get it. I have ran M6 and beat them but 1/4 mile and 1/8 mile times show my car is slower LOL.

Nice. I have a boost leak somewhere and havent had time to find it and fix it. Need to get tuned ASAP

Thanks. F10 M5's run mid to high 11's at 120mph or so, generally - not too slow

if he was stock, your running about the same Hp and almost the same TQ with a big weight advantage. Not surprisingly you pulled on him. Sounds about right.
