I'm finishing up my turbo install of some RB 2+, I have done everything in the first post for starters. I'll be running 93 octane (hard to find E85 here).

I saw Terry mention a version 36 and upgrading to T3? I have version G5_ISO_32_14 on my JB4. Can someone clear this up for me?

You're on v14. The latest v15 and v16 are in the app. V16 has user defined maps 6/7/8 but remains experimental, we've had a couple reports of settings scrambling still. Although I haven't been able to recreate it here. So if you're going to run it take advantage of the apps feature to save settings to file so you have a backup.

Loaded it up again a couple days ago.
Still scrambles maps around after power on / off. I let the car sit, went in to eat, came back out and stuff scrambled.
Also did a cold start and its MUCH louder just as I had told you via email that car would drone in 6th on the frwy which it never does on other firmware.
I did not bother driving it after all that so I reverted again.

Everytime when I switch the car off, the duty bias settings get reset. I have to reload everything again.

Mine used to do all that on T1.
Then that got fixed but my car drones on BETA firmware and maps change around. Say I do 20 psi on map 6, and 23 on map 7 and 26 on map 8...ill log say map 7, but will reflect boost curve of map 6. The log will clearly show map7 but record the settings of another map.
Any of this happen to you ?
Oh and base wgdc will jump around at times.

Sorry for the late reply. I only use map 3 on my JB4. Have not tried the other maps on this new firmware. Once I experienced the issue with the duty bias settings being reset continuously, I reverted back to my previous firmware.

I wonder if maybe the jb4 mobile glitches things. You say you have not been able to recreate it. Are you using laptop to save settings ? Might be worthwhile to ask people how they are saving settings.
I, for one, am using Jb4 mobile app and have these issues.

Now we need more people to chime in and see if its the way settings are being set, or firmware issue.
I know jb4 mobile glitches switching maps on new firmware. I click map 7 from map 6 to set it up and I have to click twice because it stays on map 6. Sometimes I have to click 3x, sometimes one click and it changes over. I showed Terry this as well.
Hopefully all this info and if we can gather more, will help to solve these issues.

Interesting how for some its, dutycycle, boost, base wgdc, etc...seems like it varies from one person to another.
Is there anyone other than Terry on Beta that has zero issues ?
If so, what was used ?
Jb4 mobile or laptop ?

Btw, anyone else have a loud exhaust ? As mentioned before, on Beta my car drones, but once I revert, all is well again. I would imagine this may not be noticeable to anyone on stockish exhaust., on custom exhaust its VERY noticeable.

I experience the same issues as per the above posters. My exhaust is unusually loud as well on the new firmware.
Decided to revert to the older firmware until issues are resolved.

Thanks for the reply. I have had this happen to me as well with the settings not saving (even though I'm not on the newest firmware). I use the JB4 app on Android.

Is there any updated information on a fix? Thanks.

Not yet.

Terry.....

I would be happy to leave PI algorithm as is and just add 1 more user adjustable map (6).
Also not much need for for 3 user adjustable AND the ability to save different duty bias, fuel bias, etc.
The JB4 adapts from all maps as it is.
This may help simplify things to get the firmware going.

Hi Terry,

Please take a look on my log, i have 500cc on chargepipe and 6x250cc pi. Im on 98 pump fuel and im using backend hybrid e85 map on which i lowered timing. Problem is that my trims are playing on high rpm and fuelEN is always different on all pulls. Is JB4 adjusting meth flow itself and don't looks to my fuel bias? In this log there is 3 pulls in 3rd gear in 2-3 minutes. How can i get softer trim changes? And also, trims are in ~40 when spooling, how can i reduce that? Thanks in advance
