What is the best Jb4 map for me ?

12’ F10 535i AT | JB4 | BMS Intake | VRSF 3.5" Kittenless Down-Pipe | VRSF Charge-Pipe

i am thinking between Map 1,2,5 ?

I'd imagine map2 but "95 fuel" is probably like our 91 RM2... Log it and we can verify its running well for you.

Do the runs have to be WOT runs on every map ?

or do i have to just drive normally on every map and post the logs and you can tell me the best map i need to use ?

Grab 1 log on each map - one on map 1, one on map 2 and one on map 5.

Defeat traction control and do the runs going WOT (full throttle) in 3rd from ~2500 rpm to redline. Then post the three CSVs.

On my E, you press the button once, but don't hold down.

Can terry confirm the right steps to log ?

Shod hold down till full traction is off or just press once .?

And on what gear shold we be on ? Since i have the 8AT gear

TBH - it only matters if it's interfering with your 'run'. If you feel happier then wait for ANOther and/or someone at BMS/FuelIt etc to chime in.

@toome Shared this with me

- Find a clear stretch of road (no cops and good pavement, as well as enough space to hit speeds of ~80mph "safely")
- Turn traction control off, but leave DSC on unless you're crazy. Reason to do this is the DME will pull timing when you break traction with TC on which isn't good for logging.
- Start logging right before you're about to do the pull. I suggest using manual logging instead of only at WOT
- Get the car in 3rd gear at around ~2500k RPM and then floor it until redline. You can also go through 4th gear as well but it isn't necessary.
- Come down to a safe speed and stop logging
