I had that message come up, then after simply restarting the interface software, plugging everything back in, restarting the car it went away.

Sorry it's not more use, but it just happened that once, then I could do the ISO firmware upgrade and it's all been fine since.

Yea it gives me that error no matter what. basically I just want to know that there should not be a difference in the interface right like the interface should be correct or is there a different interface for the G5 that I missed... =/ Thanks for the info at least I know that it just might be a error to my error lol

No, it's the same interface. Although you will need the latest so that it's aware of the G5.

Map 5 is the place to be now, unless you have meth.
It's better than 1 and 2, but you can easily compare by changing on steering wheel.

I accidently reset settings upon latest firmware upload. Anyone know the default settings so I can enter them all in?

Select "G5 ISO" and "restore defaults" Using the 10/23 interface.

Map 5

ditch the sprintbooster as it more for cars without a tune. The JB4 will most likely override it with it's controls.

just installed the flash and wow!! Only word I can say...what a huge difference!

Just installed the meth trunk mount but am confused a bit on mixing denatured alcohol with water for a 50/50 mix (getting M1) Wednesday so this will do.

Any pointers on mixing? I was thinking 55oz water 73oz denatured?

Rob,

I was running pure M1 until I discovered it needs some agua.
So now I just mix with regular -20F ww fluid about 50/50. Since the ww fluid has some alcohol in it you end up with a good mix.
Maybe others do it differently.

Not trying to sound cool about the "agua." I just watched No Country for Old Men again the other night and couldn't help myself. Love that movie, total classic.
"Call it!"

I am a newbie to meth so you use 50% -20 on 50% M1

ISO 14 is head over heals better than 13-13B because -> so far no rattling from my loose wastegates on ISO 14 unlike ISO 13 which I, and apparently others, couldn't get under control no matter which setting w/ lagfix. In terms of performance, there I haven't noticed any difference between ISO 11 - 14 in terms of power, aside from smoother throttle input and reduced the slight oscillations during light throttle on ISO 11.

thanks again for allowing me to run the latest firmware.

the smoothness, lag is just gone...higher RPMS much better, no fuel codes or anything and car is just crazy fast.

1. Pulls harder and more linear
2. Lag is totally gone
3. Seems like a lot more lowered end throttle and higher end throttle.
4. Insanely smooth

I have quad turbos!!!!!

The posted firmware was what was passed around via email as 14C.

Greetings. Today I replaced the ISO_11 firmware with the new ISO_14.
When the firmware is updated like this, should I "restore defaults"?

Or are the ISO_11 settings the same as ISO_14, so no need to restore defaults?

Thanks. Might finally be able to get some logs on Map 3 with 50 additive later today.
