Yea, it def. is gonna be nice to be a option via the JB4, that would be really COOL! But for not the best solution is the ziptie IMHO.

BTW, Map5 is feeling more and more better each time i drive it, im starting to like it alot.
So far it is being very consistent with good power each time i plant my foot during rolls, which i use to feel the car wasnt 100% consistent each time on Map2 for me, even though it was too hot of a map for me. Map5 doing the work is great, lower psi doesnt always mean slower car Thing is moving.

I don't know why, but I keep putting off switching to Map 5. I've been running Map 2 with DCI and 93 oct without any issues thus far (knock on wood) and I love the power it provides. I feel if I were to switch to Map 5 I would lose some power. Am I safe in assuming Map 5 would settle somewhere between Map 1 and Map 2?

Map 2 might be too aggressive for your setup so switching over to map 5 might be a safer bet even though you might lose some hp. Considering you are running 93oct and DCI you should be somewhere between Map 1 and Map 2 power wise. Correct me if i'm wrong Thanks

if you switch to map5 you could possibly end up feeling more powerful. If your only on DCI and 93 running map2, then most likely you are hurting performance by running too high of a map. When I had DCI and 93 octane, map1 felt more powerful then map2 no doubt.

It's on the to look at list. Been busy with more fun stuff the past week.

No, that comes from the module in the trunk not the DME.

BMW just called and my car has had the Pump and injectors replaced from what I gather. I will be picking it up tonight and installing the JB4 to do some more logging on Map 5.

I'm not Jeff, but no, PID is automatically activated on the latest firmware. Just switch to Map 5.

Going to do some logging tonight in high 40's weather. Only made one map 5 pull so far and it didn't feel that great. Hoping it was the 80 degree weather, I'm counting on it picking some up more power with more pulls.

Is that OCD enough for you?
I had the Zip tie at first then I unplugged from the panel and left connected on the exhaust. It doesn't matter much now since I switched to a BT Exhaust. I know how it feels with the codes sometimes. I have one for an "Alive Telephone" and have not one clue what it is.

You lost me on the OCD part??

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder - since it bothers me that I have a plug and code issue that do not affect anything.

I like the sound of fun stuff.

JB4 is great but this S$%T is addictive. Can't stop always wanting more power.

I think after my ******** install I now need to reduce first gear boost. Zero Traction and occasional backfire. I still have runflats that also have no tread left.

I hear you. Always aiming to please. The challenge is some of these ideas we come up with take days of coding time to sort out before we can even test if they offer a benefit. But rest assured we're always cooking things up in the lab to keep your "quick fixes" satisfied.
