I have recently purchased a pre-owned JB4 group 2 w/datalink cable for my stock 2020 MK7.5 GTI.

The previous owner said he left it on map 6 when he disconnected the jb4. So to be safe I should switch back to map 1 with datalink cable before I start the car?

Also, when I looked from the top I'm not seeing the harness for D so I assume the only way to access from the bottom by removing the shield?
