Ok I need some clarification on a part that I purchased from VRSF. I spent dam there 2k with them in the month of October just to receive poor customer service and email only bs responses. I do believe COVID-19 has given companies the belief that can get away with crappy services without consequences. Out of the 4 items I ordered, only 2 were fulfilled without issues. I already got refunded for one of the items after two month of "promised" delivery and now I'm trying to resolve this last one. Again if I'm wrong, then I will more content that I have the correct item in my possession.

I ordered a "VRSF 1000whp 7.5″ Stepped Race Intercooler FMIC Upgrade Kit" (picture posted is what is displayed on their website)

Now I'm no intercooler guru, however this does not look like what I ordered. I truly believe they sent me this-

I have email's and invoice's as proof. I even emailed them multiple times requesting for someone to actually call me to discuss the matter. I hoping I just over reacting, however if I am right.......

I've got the 7.5" stepped competition version and it looks identical to your photos.

Ok that’s one person. Guys please help confirmed that it’s not me. I have been finding a bunch of issues with this company floating online. They have a few complaints filed against them with the BBB.

Thank you, I have been trying to resolve this issue with them however it seem like they do not care. All I got was smart ass comment. I going to post my invoice and a response that they clearly admitting it's the competition

No problem! Sorry you’re having problems with VRSF’s customer service.. I have a lot of their parts but I purchased them through Extreme Powerhouse which has amazing customer service.

Some proof......

The order that was placed

What was shipped

The invoice packing slip

My email to them

The response I get after I took some measurement of what was sent to me

So I measure the intercooler and emailed them with the specs. In return I get a smart ass rep clearly admitting it's the competition hd intercooler not realizing the error on their behalf. That was the last email they sent to me and have not responded to nothing else I sent

Well I’m not impressed on how he is handling the situation. Again if I’m wrong than I will own it, but this clearly ain’t on me. To play devil advocate, did they do a revise on the intercooler that I don’t know about. If someone in this forum has recently purchased the 7.5 Stepped Race Intercooler, please post some pictures. Mounted or unmounted pictures will work fine for comparison.

So they don't list a number on their website. I had to go the BBB just to find a number. Once acquired, I called multiple times and left a voicemail requesting for someone to call me despite their message of not having a dedicated customer service line. All customer services issues must go though their site which submit a claim ticket. I have done claims upon claims just to receive a email saying I'm measuring it wrong. Since 11/3, I have yet gotten any phone call

The 7.5” Competition and the 7.5” Race are two different intercoolers. . I have the Race and what you received is the Competition. You can look on their website as both on there. The Competition is $479.99 and it’s under the same tab as the 5” stepped.

The RACE version is larger then the one you have. Sadly I think their manufacturing in China has been delaying the shipments so they're just sending out something hoping customers don't tell the difference. The RACE version looks like a radiator no joke you can tell the one they sent you is competition. Return it back ASAP (if they reply lol) and you can't go wrong with the BMS version and it shows in stock: https://burgertuning.com/collections...nt-intercooler

If I'm not mistaken I think Extreme Powerhouse doesn't even carry VRSF products anymore.

From my research, I believe that's what they are doing. I would like to settle this and get the correct item but I think I beyond that. With everything they doing with the poor commutation, I don't trust sending it back without making some type of official confirmation. I have already submitted a return claim, but you have to await on their approval.
