Log check please. Fuel starting to crash. -
07-15-2020, 07:42 AM
I did a few pulls last night, been running Map 7 for a while with no problems, Tried map 6 and more boost, fuels started crashing.
Hybrid e85 BEF with around E40, Fuel it stage 2 LPFP
Not the cleanest start or finish on logs, but all 3rd gear pulls.
Both LPFP and HPFP start to crash, got kicked into map 4 racing a bike after these pulls.
Where do i start to diagnose? EKPM crash? HPFP too old for these boost levels and E content?
FOL is not gaining either, stuck at 40 it seems.

Btw, crushed the sport bike from a roll on the straight.
And I went to map 6 after a few pulls on map 7, which makes me think maybe the ekpm got too hot. It is an ekpm2. I drilled some holes in the cover, and leave the seats out.

Your HPFP looks tired, but your also running 25lbs at e40 with upgraded turbos w/o port injection.
Id lower the boost. your map 7 log was definitely the "cleanest".
I what wonder map 2 with like e60 with the e85 bef would look like..

25psi on e40 without pi is generally too much? I knew i'd be pushing it. i'd love to get a glory run on a dyno on that map as is.
I'll try a little less E content, and flash the race BEF, there is no hybrid pump for I8AOS

Yeah there's no Pump BEF for hybrids.
You can try keeping the E85 BEF, up the E content and just lower the boost to see where the HPFP is. That would be a more safe option, instead of running more boost and lowering E content. Also you'd get the timing advance from the e85 BEF

Good call, I’m actually away from home with the car, but, I’m the town I get my E85. I’ll up the e content a bit, I can’t get stuck here with a busted car.

Just keep an eye on your hpfp and I would raise in increments. e50 then e55 ect.
Start with map 1 and just play with it and see where your hpfp stands until you up the boost.
