If you have the JB4 then you'll want the JB4 BEF which requires the MHD app to flash. I have a PS2 with JB4 and the JB4 BEF that I'm slowly tuning to work with my setup. It would be nice however if there was a JB4 BEF for a "large turbo" setup like the PS2, but I think once you get away from the stock turbo you'll want/need to tune to the individual setup to get the most out of it because there would be a lot of variables to consider.

I have both jb4 n mhd. Just want to know which one will be safer and more reliable until i get a custom tune

If you plan to go with a custom tune and not use the JB4 afterwards, just use the JB4 and don't worry about the BEF. The JB4 has lots of safeties so it won't hurt using just the JB4. Adding the BEF will help if run better.

You don't need any of that just because you swapped the turbo. You'll need it if you really want to push it but it's not a requirement.

I use a ps2 up to 24 psi. No need for pi or meth. I add wmi for cooling and yes there is added fueling, but running E30 wound be enough.

Ots, or jb4 bef it doesn't matter, the jb4 gives great advantage over either one. I have an ethanol ps2 ots from mhd and produced just under 600ftlbs and 500whp on my 2013 535iXdrive. Trying a custom tuner now but there is no improvement over my 3.5 sec 0-60 time, or 11.6 sec 1/4 mile time. It's about your setup and with a pwg ps2 and a max 24psi this is where I'm ps2 bound. I'm playing with tuner pro now to see if i can system my upper rpm torque on the Burger Motorsport supplied E85 bef.
