Terry, this is very similar behavior to what I was describing over on the WMI PWM thread. Attached log here as well. For reference, I'm stock DME and otherwise.

The thing is I don't know if my box is the California version or not. It says current firmware is 58/11//5. I have no idea what that means.

Sorry for all the doubts. Just that I'm new to this and don't want to mess up my car.

Hey everyone just wanted to say hi and thanks for all the great info. I’m in my very first BMW also using my first jb4. My car is a 2018 340i with 18,000 miles. I’ve put on so far the Jb4, bms intake, VRSF ******* ********, and full m-sport exhaust. I’m currently on map 3 and just curious if that seems to be my best bet for 93 octane and my mods. So far she feels pretty strong. Could be a little better with high rpm shifting but overall pleased.

Here is the firmware I believe I’m running

58/11/15

Thanks for any and all the help.

Congrats on new car. You have to post your logs on the support/log review forum.

Support Log Review - N54Tech.com - International Turbo Racing Discussion

Make sure it is a .csv file. Also it is around 2500rpm to redline with WOT (wide open throttle) in 3rd or 4th gear for manuals. Also, make sure to include mods with gas rating to help review logs.

Here is more about logging.

v16

1) Added test fix for older vehicles previously not able to run firmware newer than v11.
2) Adjusted WGDC so it will always display as 0 if not equipped with a EWG connector.

I’ve noticed a bit of lag in shifts at wot with map3. Map2 ‘feels’ better, but I don’t currently have a draggy or run at a track to measure the difference. I added xhp hoping it would solve the issue, but it feels the same or very similar. I’m going to play with max rpm for shifts to see if that helps.

Anyone else have this?

I only have jb4 and xhp. Otherwise stock.

Thanks

I haven’t got any info so far. Mine has been updated to v15 firmware switching between map 3,4,5 with CL down pipe, jb4, m performance exhaust and bms intake. I was hoping to do an EWG harness and e85 blend to see where it gets me, but the coronavirus haunted all plans

Hello. I have a bmw f34 340xi. on the 14th program the car rode very well. Updated to 15, on a 3.4 card from the bottom goes very sluggishly, thinks for a long time. 2017 car. a score of 0-100 by dragy deteriorated. Can someone tell me what other settings do jb4 need to do?

Mod List: BMS intake, Dinan Midpipes and VRSF ******** 93 Octane.

Also for the tunes to work better do you have to do a few pulls like Map 5 auto tune back in the day?

Default V16 firmware on the Supra - 04-27-2020, 02:20 PM

Hey there, I played around with V16 firmware on my supra for several days now, (***** dp, drop in filter and 93 Octane gas) running between 18-19 psi, car feels alot better and consistent at last when compared to v14 and v15 firmwares.
I ran map 5 and now on map 6.
Two thumbs up for Terry and team to make this happen.

I highly recommend you run around 40 for Auto shift boost redux, this will resolve the limp mode if you constantly overboost momentarily during shifts.

Next is to dyno the car and see if she makes more power with this boost level and the lower timing advance 5-9.5 degrees or with a bit less boost and potentially higher timing advance as am almost certain I'm hitting the octane limit.

Default HELP! - 05-06-2020, 07:27 PM

SO..i got a 2018 m3 with *** less dp, charge *****, intakes, and jb4 stage 2...no one seem to be able to answer my question and I've talkin toBurger customer service and they said everything seems fine on logs. I keep getting error code 104301 absolute pressure sensor, intake manifold, plausibility, caster: pressure to high, and it keeps tripping my CEL. I also get 101F01 throttle valve opening angle pressure--ignore, tuner code..i don't think that one is tripping CEL..HELP!

Default Version 15 Vs Version 16 Firmware WGDC operation erratic - 05-12-2020, 10:00 AM

Hi,

I have run both V15 and V16 on my 2020 330iX. Regardless of map selection, Version 15 shows the WGDC operating and varying with load. V16 shows either 0 or 50 regardless of variation in load. Time, weather, location, gas 93, all the same.

One run of V16 boosted over 20 psi for no apparent reason. Have never seen this before.

I reloaded V16 several times but had the same result.

I have attached two map 3 runs with V15 and 16 firmware and the weird run on map 6 flat 4.3psi.

Are there issues with V16? At this point I am reloading an older firmware that I feel confident is working OK.

Also, though not for the runs of concern, I keep getting the following codes:

CD990B-no description found
CD990E -no description found
135A08 valvetronic servomotor, position sensor: implausible signal.

Codes show up regardless of firmware version.

Please advise.

Thank you.

No idea regarding the maps and firmware versions since you know way more than me.

I get the first two codes that you have and it seems that those are common, harmless codes on all tuned BMWs and A90 supras? I have never gotten any other error code though.

Seems like you need help dialing the basemap setup, looks like you are overboosting and your 4psi runs are a result of the car going to limp mode, third fault code could be related to that.
The first two faults are normal and do nothing, they can't be cleared.

Make sure your FF and PID gain are on baseline and have your wgdc are not too high.
