The BETA software labeled for internal use only is for internal use only. Has logic for an optional fuel wire none of you will have and other things we're testing in house. Should not be run by general customers.

OK but he's not familiar with it. No one has fuel biasing wires but me. attaches between JB4 and the primary o2 sensor using a posi tap like EA888 models. And requires fuel bias settings to enable.

Terry is checking the log. The feature Terry is talking about allows the AFR to be changed. Its not the same thing to the fuel plug which increases the rail pressure creating more volume per injection.

Just a thought, is there any particular component in the car that contributes greatly to the EMF, and if so would it be worthwhile shielding that component.

I'm a little confused about the level of e85 we can mix into our fuel.
The guys tuned for and running full e85 stress that they need to run their tank down to almost empty before they switch to 93, to avoid damage to engine under boost.
I know that some here are running up to 30% e85 to good effect. Is this due to the jb4 tune accommodating the e85 content?

Probably but we've not been able to track that down.

With the JB4 you can run up to around 30% E85. With our new fuel wire we're testing now we might be able to extend that to E40 or E50. For stronger mixtures you'll need to also add in a flash map.

Thanks Terry, I’ll be looking forward to updates on how the fuel wire testing goes. I’m sure it will pair nicely with different flash tunes. Currently, flash tune companies are recommending to use colder plugs when using E60-E85. Maybe some recommendations on plugs can be shared once your testing is complete.

RS3's stock spark plug already has 8 degrees, even for stage2 E60-85 software, I don't think it is necessary to upgrade to 9 degrees

Many flash tunes are pushing +25psi so going a step colder wouldn't be a bad idea. Most people follow recommendations blindly...I like to read spark plugs, datalog, and verify.
APR and Unitronic recommended running NGK R7437-9.
Some recommend Denso IKH0124. Heat range appears to be similar as OEM RS3 plugs but more durable design.

Had a chance to do some testing today with our prototype "budget" BMS RS3/TTRS intake. Results were pretty good.
Current setup is the APR E85 flash map, with the JB4 setup on map6 to reduce boost in 1st gear around 3psi for the launch and then add 2psi in higher gears, we also set it to lean out the AFR a bit up top to keep fuel pressure from completely tanking.
BMS prototype intake, BMS trans can, full tank of E85, all else factory. 20" rims.
On intakefinal production piece will be powder coated black and priced nicely relative to current intake offerings.

Looks good! What is the diameter of the piping? Is it compatible with the +2019 diverter valve connection?

Still on the factory plugs on ours. Wow are NGK R7437-9 really ~$40 each retail? I'll have to check with NGK to see what sort of pricing we can get on those in volume.

3.5" piping, we have an optional adapter for 2019+ models to keep that plug and play.

Yes, please order in bulk, so some of us can reap some NGK spark plug savings. I’m going with what APR/Unitronic recommend for E85 files, as I’m sure they’ve done enough R&D to know what is good for these motors. Plus it’s relatively ‘cheap’ insurance in the grand scheme of things.

Here are the plugs. Denso has a unique ground electrode. Iroz and 034 recommends these plugs. I don't know if Iroz uses these in their high HP EA888 and DAZA builds. I'd imagine they would go another step or two colder.
Nothing really special with the NGK. Just insanely expensive. lol

Denso plugs look like a better option, we also carry Denso plugs for the Stinger so have an account. Will see what we can do.
Also FYI I noticed with the intake I'm able to trigger the low boost condition more often. For those who have the issue, are you mostly running intakes? Not sure if the change of JB4 box location caused it or something with the intake tuning itself. The box is sitting in the bottom of the airbox under the filter at the moment.
