I just blew my motor out last month, probaly a week part or bad injector connection, it's not clear yet. I had overboosted @24psi, i don't think tune was an issue. But, anyway, i replaced motor with an 80K miles "brand new" N54.
I would need a conservative tune to make sure i would not blew motor again. I am a bi afraid. Motor has been installed 2 weeks ago, i will change my oil next week, and after, i'll be ready to do some pulls.
I would like Trebila have a look on it, if it's possible.
My car and my mods are:
335XI 2008 N54
Pure Stage 2 DD turbos,
2" inlets,
CTS Intercooler, DCI,
CTS ChargeP with Forge Diverter Valves with yellow spring,
Magnaflow exausts and you know what,
RB PCV Valve, 3.5Bar T-Map sensor,
Recent JB4 + MHD backed-end flash Pump.
I'am running on 91 octane
My goal is just a save tune, not too agressive that will not be hard on the life of the motor while beeing a cool daily drive.
Hi,
I have bought an '07 335i with BEF from Trebila 100% meth flow with 99 octane on map 3.From few days now at WOP the car automatically switch to map4 and I get 4 hazard lights flash, any idea what can be wrong.I will make some logs and post them.
Thank you

It is most likely your JB4 that is protecting your engine and tricking the map4 mode.
If you look on the JB¤ interface, you will be able to see what tricked the fault. Do you have the JB4 app?

I managed to consistently trap 127-128mph in the 1/4 mile last Sunday. The first 3 runs were on Map 3 (23.5psi) but found the engine did't feel as smooth and the IAT across the finish line were 160 degrees. Causing a cylinder 6 misfire.
Thereafter I used Map 7 (19.5psi) and found the engine to run much smoother and the IAT was only 130 degrees at the finish line. The 1/4 mile trap speed was slightly higher too and much more consistent.
I'm going to visit a different track in a couple of weeks which will be fully prepped and should knock my 60ft time down quite considerably. Overall I'm loving the car and the Trebila E50 flash is excellent
E92 335i Stock turbos on 97,000 miles.
JB4 + Trebila E50 BEF on Map 7, XHP stage 2 trans flash, Fuel-It Stage 1 LPFP, VRSF 7" intercooler, VRSF doonpipes, BMS DCI, ML 1.75" inlets, RB outlets, CPE charge pipe. Hoosier drag radials 275/40r17 with Apex Arc 8 wheels, Mickey Thompson ET Front skinnes
Weight: 1480kg (3260lbs)
Best quarter mile trap: 11.84@128.2mph (stock turbos) 19.5psi boost, E50 fuel only
Best quarter mile time: 11.45@125.6mph (stock turbos) 19.5psi boost, E50 fuel only
I'm stoked.
I'll be doing a Trebila tune in the next few weeks/months.
THE BEAST got me hooked after showing me some logs and videos. Stunning results. (thanks!)
I'm just tuning up the car pre Trebila. (Index 12 Injectors (after much debate) plugs, boost leak testing, etc)
I'm guessing it'll be 33% of my auto happiness. (cost to happiness... no idea why every JB4 user doesn't do it, just based on other's results)
First 33 goes to JB4, second 33 goes to BMS WMI.
All the other mods will have to share the remaining 1%. Just give me boost and timing and I'm happy!

I didnt think it was possible to trap that high on stock turbos ! Congrats !
Any weight reduction ?
Says 335i, but what model ?
haha and car is still running strong and smooth. I do not really like the idea of going on the dyno, but here’s a 100-200 run on pump gas and 100% meth.
I had David do an e50 tune when I had stock twins and it was the best thing I did to my car.
Now I'm having him tune my 6466 single turbo conversion. I was slightly worried I went too large in my turbo choice, and the "lag" would take the fun out of putting around town. Boy, was I wrong. David's tune makes it barely noticeable i don't have stock twins anymore. And his response emails have always been next day.
Trebilla,
i need some help from you to tune my newly updated n54 335i. I am not really that tech smart. Whats the best way to contact you and what do i need to do to get this underway?
cheers

** E93, 4090 lbs (plus fuel and me), no weight reduction **
THE BEAST put me in touch with David.
Bang for buck, this was the best expense.
I've been rockin' the Trebila tune for approx 1 month now.
The power comes in so intensely now at such a low RPM, targeting 24 PSI by 3000 RPM.
The Turbos are stock, and inlets, as is my exhaust, so there are barriers on my side to spooling and breathing.
That said, it feels like a monster.
Between my traction (getting cold here) and no ideal test zone, my ability to log has been restrictive to obtaining the best log data.
A standard 3rd gear pull is attached. I couldn't go to 7k in this one.
My best official launch so far is 4.50 seconds.
This stretch of asphalt often registers as -0.4~*, however here is -0.93%.
Same spot I pulled a 4.01 (0-60(1ft)), but it registered as invalid as it breached the -1%.
I'm convinced with warm tires and a smooth surface, I can get sub 4 sec as is.
If I switch at 5000 or 5500 RPM, followed by not accidentally letting off the gas at the end (like in the attached), it should make a difference.
(I have to hold my first gear boost at 10 PSI now, just to hold the road with 275r, while I used to leave it open)
THE BEAST is THE BENCHMARK for the E93.
One day boss... one day! It'll be Ethanol vs. Methanol!
