I had a few friends with PS2, Speedtech stg3 and Bigboost stg3 that are installing B58 hpfp on N55 cars.
I can say if you have some crashing N55 hpfp because with E40 no matter PI or wmi I like the idea of buy an used B58 hpfp ($350) vs N55 ($250)

Great info. If you want more fuel B58 hpfp flows more than N55.

I am now using B58 HPFP and I could say is at least 20% more effective than N55 HPFP on real world. Look a graph of my car last night run about 125mph at 402mts without making brake boost.... 11.51@125mph with 1.95 at 60ft 1st and 2nd 20psi, 3rd 21psi , 4th 22psi and 5th 23psi. I am using WMI as alwys. I think this is one of the most important and simple modification you should do to your N55 engine.

that is a very difficult question, it will depend on all other factors, which turbo, which bef, with or without meth, etc.

This week I will test in almost exact same conditions where oem N55 hpfp could not keep pressure no matter any PI setting using E40 and I will keep you posted guys

“you only have to close off in and outlet , and the spring while machining it .
soldering is also pretty easy ”

Is there something we have to solder closed?

you dont want to have any metal particles going in to the pump , it will wreck it for sure and if parts get into your injecttors your ****ed too , so i would closeoff in and output while adjusting the flange

you have to solder the newer style connector if you car is prior 2014 or so .
old connector is much bigger than th enew one

Ok I see what you’re saying. Def will tape-off to prevent debris. As for the wiring harness I will have to get the correct one and retrofit it. I will have more info too to add to this experiment. Picked up a used pump and wiring harness for 175. Pay to play
