Oh map 2 is fine as it only targets 22psi. Haven’t tried Map 7.

But now in Map 6 I’m targeting 22.5 psi as per log.

R u running 100% e85 or e70?

I run full e85 on the M4, I think I hit 26 psi on some of my logs I'd have to look. I'm running the Ngk 97506 at .018 gap I believe.

PS, we kinda both have the same setup on cars. I have to ask... How much faster is the N54 LOL Mine just eats the S55 haha.

Hi buddy. Yeah except I thought yours is a single turbo n54?

I’m making around 670 whp now at 25.6 psi. It’s super fast on a roll and the other day I was pulling away from a 2018 E63S AMG from 100km/h to 200km/h. But I think he would walk me from a launch lol. I really need Awd now on this n54 beast.

M4 is super quick low down with massive torque but it up top it doesn’t compare to the n54 PS2 😂

Anyway, I have a feeling Oz E85 is really potent. Maybe in Europe too. I know Trebilia has tuned M4 CP with ** and air intake and they can also only handle E70 max before fph dips below 15 At 25psi.

So today I sort estimated my half tank would mean 30 litres left and added 7 litres of Pump 93 (98 Octane no ethanol content in Aus).

Attached are the logs. Will do a longer run later but the first run at 22 psi zero timing again but no stutter. Maybe fuel was still mixing and I forgot to reset octane it mhd. Second and third runs at 25 psi , timing came bk quite well and no stutter.

So maybe it’s the level of E85.

Yea mine is a single turbo at about 700whp or so lol. I know the feeling, up top it's a monster vs the S55 haha.

Okay so that's good leaning out the e85 to e70 can help relieve the fuel system a bit. The first log timing was bad, but as you stated it did get much better. Can you get a full good log at 25 psi without it misfiring?

Yeah will post a proper long log soon. Just one thing, does the avg Ign work for s55? It seems any timing drops are not reflected in this variable... ?

One of my buddies is running his s55 with PS2 turbos on 100% e85 at 28psi, flash tune from Cary. I’m really impressed what that stock fuel system is capable of! He’s running the 12120042724 plugs (BMW high power flex fuel specific gapped down .019”) seemed to fix the stumbles he was getting on the stock plugs gapped down. I cannot wait for the M2 competition to be released

I'm actually not sure, could be older firmware? Everything should show up as normal but I can get verification.

Oh btw Payam, r u using 750cc injectors? I didn’t realise 550cc cane as std item for my PI and it seems I’m at 100% duty cycle during kickdown in S mode esp now when my iats are 55 in winter...and sometimes I go into open loop or get kicked into map 4 lol

But in 4th manual mode from 2000rpm no kickdown trims can be below 20 all the way. I think kickdown to S3 55 iats that’s where the sudden high fuel demand comes in and maybe Pi injectors struggle

So I managed to log some longer runs. Started off in 3rd but as I anticipated traction an issue and sliding so I gave up in that gear 😂

4th gear runs were decent maybe a slight wobble low down but pretty clean I think.

Logs look quite good yeah?

Really looking good now! No more hiccups at that psi?

Send me a log of your N54 so I can look through it a bit. I have 52 lbs injectors as well and running 100% at 32 psi though.

Yeah it’s great now. In fact the M4 I’m seeing 26.5 psi too around 5000rpm. No stutter at all. 👍

WOw! I made 364.9 rwkw on my Mainline Oz Dyno. ( Around 570-580whp on a Dynojet I reckon). Which was identical to a previous E92 M3 625hp supercharged kit loll.

Log attached. Super impressed esp with everything stock with just a Jb4 and supporting flash for E70.

BigThank you to all the team at Bms as my goal has been achieved and exceeded. It was very fiddly at the beginning with all the issues I had but electrical issues never easy I guess lol.

Now I have created another problem as I just can’t go wot in 3rd without losing the rear end

I would say the bigger injectors might help for that N54 log but not too sure, the log wasn't long enough to see.

Ign Av does not show up for S55 yet, it is in the works.

Just one thing to note on the dyno graph the rpm scale does not match the log. We never rev past 6600rpm. The scale is wrong but that’s due to the fact that we couldn’t use the Obd2 port for which the Mainline dynos connect to for additional data. The jb4 is Canbus so prevents this option. It was only calculating the derived RPM because we had no access to the actual channel through the OBD2 port.

Ok tx Payam. Yeah pretty sure the injectors are maxing out from all the logs previously and when it below 100% like maybe 85%, I get smooth runs no misfire in cyl 6 or dips or spikes in Hpfp rail pressure. I think cyl 6 is always first to misfire if fuel is struggling being the furthest away.

Ok good to know RE s55 Ign Avg

Do you have anymore logs of the N54 with a full clean pull I can look at?

oh just before I was heading home and it was 5 deg C cold night. And in my M4, I floored it and felt stutter again. Iats were 60 and big overboosting and fph dipped below 15.

How do I prevent overboosting? As iats increased overboosting not as bad in subsequent runs..

Hmm that is very odd. WGDC and FF both shoot up compared to your other previous log on the dyno. Could be because it needs to adjust for lower duty bias values on street vs dyno with the load?

Yeah I see that ff is moving downwards ... on the road there’s more cold air and load I presume... should I lower ff to 80?
