So has anyone with the F10 ecu in a N55 hit 400whp on a stage 2 turbo yet?
I had a break through with a recent tune on my stock pwg snail on my F10ecu N55 peaked 345whp at 3100rpm and 310whp at 7000rpm , 400wtq. With a stage 2 turbo upgrade I might be able to get close to or crack 400 on an F10 535 pwg.

We have seen 500whp F10 N55 with PURE Stg2. Same drive-train as 135/335. F10 is very capable.

Holy crap! That's very exciting news from you guys. Any data, links, reviews, etc on this?

I have a 2013 535i (F10 N55 PWG). I was FBO and just recently installed Pure Stage 2, Fuel-It Stage 2 LPFP, JB4, Fuel-It PI Platinum and BootMod3. I am running pump E54 (AZ Special) and working through tuning right now, hasn't seen a dyno yet. I was at 336HP (Mustang Dyno) FBO Only, and it is definitely significantly better now. My goal is 500 RWHP.

Why is the 535 dynoing so much lower than the 335? I broke 400whp with the stock turbo, despite the 8 speed and awd.

what HP are you at when you hit 7k rpm?
On my first tune I was peak 335whp at 3krpm and 200whp at 7k rpm.
New tune 345whp at 3k rpm and 310whp at 7k rpm and thats all stock minus a down pipe and e35. With an upgraded turbo I think I can reach 400whp. I don't know if our cars can ever hit 500 though Pure just mentioned they have a customer that has. Would love to chat with that guy.

I haven't been on the dyno yet, still getting things dialed in. Recently dealing with something else, I haven't been able to put time into this right now. I hope to continue later this week. Once everything is 100% ready I'll be on the dyno to report numbers. I was at 336 HP on a Mustang dyno as FBO, prior to LPFP, PI and Pure Stage 2 upgrade.

I know there is some info in this thread but I have a 2013 535 xi and have been running Pure stage two since June ish of last year.
Car is great! I run 4-5 gal of e85 and the car holds 21 psi to red line.
I've mentioned it somewhere before - but Pure recommends dropping the sub frame for the Xi models (this is the correct way!). Just remove that right side engine mount, support the engine from the bottom with wood and a jack and you can then use a 2x4 uptop for leverage and shift the engine to the left slightly and it will give you the room to get the turbo fold in there.

I am getting close to ready, still dialing things in and temps are really high now (Arizona). I do feel like it's taking longer than it should to spool so I want to check calibration on my wastegate actuator. I did run 1/4 mile drags last Friday night with pretty high ambient temps. My best on stock turbo was a 13.9, I was able to run 13.1's with the Pure Turbo. 60ft was terrible, not the right tires for launching. I was 2.2-2.4 sec 60ft times, 110MPH trap. On the stock turbo my best was a 99MPH trap.

Nice on the 13.1
Interesting you don't know if its spooling up correctly?

Thanks. I just feel like it is taking longer to spool up than it should and that is the one thing I want to review. Logs confirm what I am saying, and PWM is staying at 99 during spool up, so it is definitely trying to get full boost.
Unfortunately I have had a lot of things going on so I haven't been able to spend the time I want to work on it further. I also need to do it cold, since it sits right next to the down pipe (HOT) and the boost solenoid is directly above the turbo. This limits when I can do it even more.

Am I understanding your comment correctly? You think it's possible heat affects the solenoid from performing? If so couldn't we heat shield it? Or wrap it with gold DEI?
Also it's sounding like with all the heat in your area you should considering meth injection.

Not performance, but being hot affects my ability to check and make adjustment to the actuator. I can't work on it when it's hot. I have been daily driving the car so it leaves just first thing in the AM on a weekend to do it, and I haven't been able to.
I am definitely considering a small meth nozzle for cooling in the charge pipe. I saw some pictures of a stealth tank BMS was working on, if that actually gets released I'll be all over it.

There are four people in this thread that have Pure Stage 2 turbo on an F10 N55, so please post up some videos and dynos, so us other F10 N55 guys know if it's worth the extra push.
I have been searching all the forums for any numbers or results and I can't even find one single video, picture, or dyno that proves the existence of an F10 N55 with Stage 2 turbo.
First guy to post up gets the glory and bragging rights.
I will be very appreciative.

Billyadmiraldy, what was your experience with installing the Pure Stage 2 turbo on the F10 N55?
I've heard it takes about 6 hours to complete with a lift, is this accurate?
What issues were you having to deal with during/after installation?
Any info is appreciated.
Elderly, whateva, as-mcracer, drdingo, please share your experiences too!

No real issues, it just took a while, but I also did other things at the same time. I had about 2 solid days working on it, but that also included new fuel line from the tank, and installing Fuel-It PI Setup and also replacing OFHG.
I also did mine on jack stands, I didn't have a lift available.
Unfortunately I have done limited amount of tuning since I have installed it because I am in Arizona and our ambient temps are near 110 daily this time of year. I won't really be trying to run high boost until the fall. Then dyno and videos will follow.
Install pictures just aren't very good, it just looks like an OEM turbo since the housing appears the same from the outside.

It's hard to understand why all F10 N55 Pure Stage 2 owners are so shy...
Logs, graphs, pics, videos?!? The first person to do so, will be the first actual confirmed Stage 2 F10 N55.

I'll have dyno and half mile times by the end of this weekend.
Just to add to this, it isn't just a matter of putting it on and going for it, there is a lot of tweaking of mapping to make it work to get the most out of it. For me I am in AZ, and it has been hot, we have had 1 cool week since March (when I installed), and right now has still been near 100 degree ambient temps. There is too much timing pulled to optimize it with IATs that have been 120-140.

That is awesome. I hope she puts out some strong numbers.
Your 535i is the most modded one that I’ve ever seen actually on a dyno so that’s progress right there! Post pics, videos, and numbers and it’ll be a historic moment for any F10 N55s.

JB4 at idle. IATs still high, this AZ summer won't go away.
And...The graph.
Max HP = 445HP, Torque = 497 Ft/lb
Outside ambient temp was mid 80's at 10:00AM. It's going to be near 100 degrees today. Cool dry air would help a lot, it was drizzling a little this morning, so the air is still humid as well. I run pump E54 (AZ version of E85) Full time in my car. JB4 shows E-Content at 53%.
I was hoping for a little more, but I am happy with that. I think cooler weather could add 20-30HP. There is always more tuning to continue to do. I slightly overboosted a little bit around 4K RPM and saw some throttle closure as a result.
I am reviewing logs now to know what needs to be done for the future.
I maxed right near 21 PSI boost, and held to over 16 PSI at 6300RPM.
