Recently I noticed my O2 sensors had a decent amount of carbon build up on them and believe it could be further complicating my fuel variance evident in my logs. I've searched all over and the results are well, all over - people using gasoline, carb cleaner, toothpaste, etc.

What do you think I should use? TIA!

Def don't use gas. That was an old school trick. No good for our lambda sensors. Use mass air flow cleaner. Works great
