Does anyone know in the BEF which Throttle parameter is which?

Start-Pedal progression Special AT
Pedal progression Special AT

Start-Pedal progression Special
Pedal progression Special

Start-Pedal progression Sport
Pedal progression Sport

Start-Pedal progression Soft
Pedal progression Soft

Soft and Sport remain untouched in the JB4 BEFs, so I think its ECO and Sport+ mode. Could Special be Comfort mode and Sport be Sport mode? Is Start-Pedal auto and Pedal manual mode?

Nice! So there was a leak, glad you found it. Looks like a pain to locate.

The only reason I found it was because I knew that clamp on the compressor outlet was loose. While feeling around, my finger slipped into the hole!

The shop was professional. I believe I may have done this myself. I agree this silicon hose will handle the heat. I plan on replacing it this weekend.

The night that I fixed the wastegate, we went out to do pulls. That's when I realized the outlet clamp was never tightened because it wasn't really boosting. We got back to the house and while positioning the hose we must have touched it to the exhaust manifold and burned a hole in it. And it just got worse with time.

Currently trying to dial in some over boost issues but the car feels great. Keeping the boost at 20psi until the overshoot is dialed in.

I had to get terry to send me a firmware with spool mode partially or fully disabled. If you want me to send you the firmware send me your email. The spool mode made my speedtech constantly overboost.

PM Sent.

My FF adaptation and duty bias is slowly going down from defaults still. What are your settings at?

Lowering or raising the FF will lower and raise the entire boost curve. He needs to see if the over boosting is consistent at certain RPM and adjust dutybias if it is.

You’re close. I send you a spool mode disabled firmware but it doesn’t look like you need it since at max throttle it’s not putting wgdc at 100 like mine does. Default pid gain is 25 and you’re at 15. Typically you keep at 25 until smoothing curve and then can tighten. You looks close. I would move ff down 10-15 and let it learn up and go from there. If you get bad boost spikes then disable spool mode.

Something weird happened today. I was at about 75mph cruising in 5th, manual mode. I gave it a little more than half throttle to pass someone and when I let off the gas it jerked pretty aggressively. Got a Drivetrain Malfunction for "1F0526 DME internal error: monitoring torque comparison" and hitting the gas did nothing. Tried to clear codes while driving but couldn't. Checked what map I was in and the JB4 said "invalid nap selection" and it magically ended up on Map 1. But when I checked the logs while this was happening it says I was still in Map 6. I had to pull over, restart the car, clear the codes, and switch back to Map 6.

Anyone got any thoughts on this?

This was on the JB4_F_EWG_16_TEST5 firmware.

1) Revised logic for absolute boost targeting maps resulting in smoother part throttle operation and the ability to set boost by gear values lower than the flash target.
