that would be a good explanation.... its been awhile... is it really gone???

Did they tighten the strut bar for free? I had a clunking noise in my 328i that turned out to be a loose battery brace but they charged me $100 (or whatever an hour of labor is) to tighten it...they could have just told me and I would have done it myself.

Hi Everyone, I found this old post by doing a search. I have static noise coming out of my speakers. And sometimes it's ear shattering. Just started a week ago & it even does it sometimes when the ignition is off. There is NO doubt it's coming from the speakers. Any up-dates on this problem??? Thanks Bill ; )

Just got static in my rear speakers. its a pulsing static. almost like the car has a heart beat. radio on or off blutooth on off and when on phone call and when car is off too.

***Update*** The noise was the stereo amplifier. I pulled the hot wire to the amp & the noise stopped. So I replaced the amp & presto! No more noise! Bill
