How do i identify if o have a G4 or G5 jb4. Bought the car with the jb4 installed already.

I installed my anti lag chip/ 2 step relay and my car starts up but dies out almost like it ran out of gas. I rechecked all the wiring and follow all the steps more then 5x yet still having the same issue.
