Default JB4 kicking to map 4 from map 1 and 2 - 08-17-2020, 06:55 PM

As the title suggests JB4 consistently reverts to map 4. I have attached 3 logs, two runs starting with map 1 and one run starting at map 2. Had a CEL for misfire about a week ago. Replaced all coils, plugs and upgraded to full set of index 12 injectors. Also upgraded fuel pump to BMP bucketless. Although I no longer have a CEL and am not throwing codes, JB4 is still reverting to map 4 at about 3500 rpm. Also running MHD pump BEF. Please help.

Updated with latest firmware. Tried to up the boost safety to 20, but it gives me a message that says valid range is 0-100. Then it reverts back to a value of 6.

After updating firmware I took a couple sets of logs and the car seemed gutless after 3500 rpm. Logs show boost rapidly dropping after 3500 rpm. Pulls were done on map 2 and map 5. CSV files attached.

Try starting with the default settings for the firmware. Compare your settings to the default settings found in post 3 here: https://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10605

Reset everything to default settings and that corrected the errors. Thanks. Boost is now trailing target by a couple of pounds throughout the entire range, but at least I have boost all the way through.

enable 6 cyl timing under your user adjustment tab.

What are you using for fuel?

Just 91 octane (CA) but will run e40 once I'm sure everything is completely situated. Will be doing a 17t turbo upgrade in the coming weeks. Replacing inlets, waterpump, thermostat and all hardware in the process. Right now I'm running ARM 5" stepped IC, COBB CP and VRSF ******* ***. I waited almost 2 months for VRSF 7.5" racing IC to ship, but they're having manufacturing delays, so I canceled my order. I imagine I'll have to get a bigger intercooler sooner rather than later.

Look into the BMS RACE FMIC!
I run this intercooler on my car, zero complaints.
