2018 Accord 2.0t Jb4 installed great results! -

I ordered my jb4 and installed it. And the results are great map 1 has a nice power power gain. Map 2 on the other hand is another story traction is going to be a real issue with stock all season. The car pulls real hard for a 2.0t.

Awesome! Record a log or two when you can and lets check those 2L boost levels.

Yes definitely will do i would like to get this car fine tuned. When i use the jb4 app all the gauges do not work. I assume that becuase the canbus isnt wired in at this point? So would I still be able to log properly? |

Yes just log manually and it will record boost for us.

Also pretty cool being the first person the have an accord 2.0 with a jb4 in it + 2 baby seats  who says dads can't be cool...when the kids aren't in the car ofcourse.

Ok terry going to do some logs this weekend. I was waiting to burn a full tank of regular before i start getting on it. I'll be using 93 octane. What map would you like me to use. Also what are the maps I can use? I remember in my 335 map 7 was an autotune map map6 was race gas not sure if this one is the same.

Doesn't matter. 40-100mph, on a safe private track, is fine.

On the way to work today cruising along then decide to stomp on it. Revs up but power wasnt there then i get a check engine light and goes into limp mode. Get off highway light goes out but still in limp mode. Check for codes nothing... turn off and back on cars back to normal
Any ideas?

Maybe misfire? Should be a fault code stored if you got a light.

I check for codes nothing came up because light went off. Is it possible I cant properly read codes since canbus isnt enabled? What is the obd2 wire for? I was told nothing as of yet.

You'd read codes with an external OBDII reader since we have no CANbus/OBDII control yet.

If it does then grab a reader and see what the fault is so we can resolve for you. They are inexpensive. Harbor Freight has a decent one for $90.

I'm a newb to this but I just gotten a JB4 for my 2.0T too after reading the success in your thread! It's cold up in Canada now so it'll be difficult for me to install it and really test it! I'm just wondering if you can post some pics of your installation since I haven't figured out where to mount the unit yet. And if you have any hints or suggestions, I'd appreciate it!  Thanks! |

If you can post a picture of your engine bay I should be able to point out where you need to connect the JB4 system.
